The four macro-economic goals of government is economic stability and growth , full employment , price stability and balance of payments. Of the four economic growth is very important , because tittle economic growth of the long-run will make a tremendous effect on a country's economic strength and living standard over a long time,, It is so important that the economic growth is not only the economic indicator which measures economic strength among nations favored by politicians and policymakers , but also the important problem which is studied and pondered by economists in different countries at different times. By contrast, the research in China drops behind . Therefore, probing the source and motivity of economic-growth becomes economics theorist's long-run task. Getting my tutor Huabing Qiu's consent, I put "study on the relation of human capital and economic growth" as my Ph.D. dissertation's title. This dissertation consists of six chapters.Chapter 1 : Evaluation of economic growth theoriesEconomic growth plays a very important role not only in advanced countries but also in developing counties. There are lots of economic growth theories within several decades since 1930's . This chapter is about the theories' evaluation . It first illustrates the background , then analyzes the frame and main viewpoints, finally evaluates the theories .Chapter 2 : The value of idiosyncratic human capital-----the sources ofeconomic growthThe source of economic growth is the main problem in economic-growth theory . This chapter analyzes the general and the specific character between human capital and physical capital . Based on periodic character of human capital marginal returns, the concept of Idiosyncratic Human Capital with increasing marginal returns is first set forth . Then , this chapter explains economic growth with it and considers it as the source of economic growth . Finally , this chapter discusses the significance of which the Idiosyncratic Human Capital becomes thesource of economic growth.Chapter 3 : Innovation which implements the value of the Idiosyncratic Human Capital------the motivity of economic growthWhen innovation makes personal returns coinciding with social returns , it stimulates Idiosyncratic Human Capital which brings economic growth. For this reason, innovation which implements the value of the Idiosyncratic Human Capital is the motivity of economic growth. In another word, economic growth is the alternate of different type of Idiosyncratic Human Capital by innovation . This chapter first analyzes the alternate . Then it analyzes enterprise system's adaptability to the alternate is that the Idiosyncratic Human Capital share the residual claim and the residual rights of control. Finally it analyzes the influence that the residual claim and the residual rights of control shared by the Idiosyncratic Human Capital on the system of enterprise property right and the structure of enterprise corporation management.Chapter 4 : Illustration on the relation between human capital and economic growthIllustration on the relation between human capital and economic growth is also an area that many economists devote themselves to study. First, the chapter reviews the illustration way from production function method to Solow residual method which bases on economic growth speed function and draws inspirations from the concept of Solow residual to understand why China's economic growth must be from extensive way to intensive way. Second, based on domestic and abroad scholars' study result , this chapter deduces that human capital, especially Idiosyncratic Human Capital in China's economic growth has more valuable significance. Third, this chapter surveys China's Idiosyncratic Human Capital from culture quality, technology quality and management quality. The results show that China's Idiosyncratic Human Capital is in shortage, hi China, the shortage of Idiosyncratic Human Capital is reconfirmed by it's range of 2000 WEF andlMD .Chapter 5 : The system analyzes o...
