According to the data of the archaeological excavation for the City Site of Zhengzhou Da Shigu from 2002 to 2003, the paper emphasis that the City Site of Zhengzhou Da Shigu is also a city site in the early stage of the Erligang Culture on the basis of that the archaeologists have made sure that the city site attributed to the later period of Erlitou Culture, meanwhile it also analyzes the relation between trench of the early stage of the Erligang Culture and the city wall of the later period of Erlitou Culture. On the basis of the archaeological truth that the city site in the early stage of Erligang Culture has replaced that in the later period of Erlitou Culture in Zhengzhou Da Shigu and in associate with the tracing of the early culture of Erligang Culture's stream and origin, the paper stresses that the early stage city site of Erligang Culture in Da Shigu is a city site which in the period which beyond or at the early stage of Shang Dynasty, and it also come up with a new view point that this certain city site is Wei Bo which were built by Shang Tang before Shang Dynasty perished Xia Dynasty according to the documents and the research results that have already existed; and an effective cultural landmark between the culture of late Xia and beyond or early Shang from geographical region and cultural feature have also been set up. Here offers the rationalities of various discussions about that the cultural boundary of Xia and Shang Dynasty is located in the second and third period of Erlitou Culture in Yan Shi; around the perishment of Xia Dynasty there did exist the Southern Bo and the Northern Bo; Western Bo is located in the third period of Erlitou Historic Site; the formulation of the Palace of Tai Jiatong in the City of Shang and Pan Geng Bo Yin; the Ao City I the City of Shang. They are all offer the active future prospects for the research of the problems of the cultural boundary between Xia and Shang as well as Tang Bo.The paper is divided into seven parts:1. The Introduction. This part narrates the survey course of the problem of the cultural boundary between Xia and Shang and Tang Bo, and it discusses the existing sticking points and the effective way to solve these things.2. This part summary the shape, era and the character of the city site in Erlitou Culture in Da Shigu.3. According to the archaeological data about the moat and the wall of the city site, this part emphasis that the City Site of Zhengzhou Da Shigu is an early stage of Erligang Culture.4. Through the discussion of the era, manner and the character of the early stage of the city site of Erligang Culture and it's substitution of the later period of the Erlitou Culture in Da Shigu, and in associate with the tracing of the early culture of Erligang Culture Stream and Origin, this article comes up with the formulation that the city site in the early stage of Erligang Culture in Da Shigu, Wei Bo beyond Shang Tang destroyed Xia as well as the new view point about the Cultural boundary between Xia and Shang.5. Through the analysing of the palace in the third period of Erlitou Culture and the limitaion of the statement of the landmark of Shang city of Zhengzhou and Yanshi, the paper discusses the effectiveness of the statement that the city site in the first period of Erligang culture in Da Shigu and its important significance to the researching of the problem of the boundary of the Shang city of Zhengzhou and Yanshi.6. The paper also discusses the city site in the first period of Erligang culture in Da Shigu is the boundary of Xia and Shang and its important significance of the reasonability to the problems as follows: Shang Tang had been in Southern and Northern Bo which located in Shangqiu in eastern part of Henan before Xia had been destroyed, after Xia had been destroied Shang Tang treated the new palace in hte third period of Erlitou culture as the western Bo and the Shang city of Zhengzhou and Yanshi as Ao Du and Tong palace seperately. 7. Conclusion, this part emphasis the limitation of the archaeological data that are now existing and the problems that should be paid attention in the later research.
