Greater China, To Build A New Literature

This thesis puts forward the theory that the modern transformation of Chinese literature is determined by Scientific Rationality aimed at the research on the determinants of the modern transformation of Chinese literature .And it includes four parts .Article 1 introduces systematically the formation and development thread of the concept of Scientific Rationality in China. Firstly, in chapter 1 ,it defines "science" in Scientific Rationality as humanities from the essence of general science and then further elaborate on the complementary and mutually promotive link in terms of the relationship between science and Rationality . Scientific Rationality stems from the organic integration of these two .And in Chapter 2,it organizes the development thread of Scientific Rationality in China and introduces the contributions of which the intellectuals (from kangyou wei to yanfu,tansitong to hushi ) have made to the development .At Last ,in chapter 3,it expounds in detail the constructing process and influencing factors of the "Scientific Rationality" explained by hushi.It emphasizes the the influence of traditional culture on his Scientific Rationality as well as the one of western culture.Article 2 discusses the influence Scientific Rationality has on modern Chinese literature.With "history","revolution" as the guiding ideology, hypothesis as the main source ,material-based truth-seeking as the fundamental spirit,and induction and deduction as the main methods. It stresses such four aspects as the objectivity under the guidance of scientific Rationality, the pursuit of truth and practice,induction and deduction,succession and innovation respectively in introducing the influence Scientific Rationality has on modern Chinese literature.Article 3 mainly discusses the push which Scientific Rationality brings to the modern transformation of Chinese literature.First of all,it puts forwards the concept of breaking-through point of the modern transformation of Chinese literature.It specifies the effect and position of hushi's Literature Discussion improvement and his Scientific Rationality in the modern transformation of Chinese literature in China by comparing the change before and after the appearance of literature Discussion improvement as the breaking-through point.Secondly,It discusses the concrete changes of literary text and pattern respectively in the modern transformation of Chinese literature,The ending introduces hushi and the Scientific Rationality he proposed in Chinese literature from May Forth Movement to the year 1930.It is expected to see clearly how hushi and his Scientific Rationality successfully integrate step by step into the history of literature in aftermath of the breaking-through point from the view of history.The academic objectives and novelties of this thesis lie in: firstly,It introduces,on the basis of the development thread of Scientific Rationality ,the main characteristics of hushi's Scientific Rationality and its influence on the modern transformation of Chinese literature,justified and reasonable .And it describes in an objective and detailed manner the theoretical grounding and realistic meaning for the reason why the Scientific Rationality becomes the determinants of the modern transformation of Chinese literature. And secondly,it gives the concept of breaking-through point with the process of the modern transformation of Chinese literature as the research objective.It is believed to be of a obvious and decisive milestone in the long cumulative period of the whole transformation.And it is this milestone that dramatic changes took places in the field of Chinese literature,meantime numerous " new form and "new content' came to appear,and clearly brings forth the so-called breaking-through point is hushi's Literature Discussion improvement .Thirdly,it elaborates systematically on the "new form" and "new content" in the modern transformation of Chinese literature from the two aspects of literary text and pattern,attempting to take altogather into account the form and content ,and presents completely the panorama of the transformation.
