Qihe County, Shandong Province, Four Clear Movement Study

The Four Cleans Movement which was led by the Communist Party of China after PRC founded last 4 years from 1963 to 1966 .From the China high-rise leader of Central Committee of the Communist Party to the masses, the broad of the participation of the movement and the far-reaching of the effect, all were seldom seen in history of the Communist Party of China. Therefore, the Four Cleans Movement has become the hot obiect for academic circles studies. According to the studies of current situation of the Four Cleans Movement, the author chooses Qi He County Shandong Province as a case, cards and analyses the movement from microcosmic.In strict significance, the Four Cleans Movement of Qi He County Shandong Province was carried out with the Four Cleans Movement in the whole nation ,so it had the universal characteristic. At the same time, because of the natural conditions of Qi He County Shandong Province, it also had unique characteristic in the movement. In September 1964, Qi He County was listed as the experimental unit county of the movement of Shandong Province. Taking this as the boundary, the movement of Qi He County could be allotted into different two stage obviously. In the impression of the cadre and masses of Qi He County, the preceding stage of the movement was called the"Little Four Cleans" in general, the last one stage was callde the "Great Four Cleans". To Qi He County, the "Great Four Cleans" is really the Four Cleans Movement in people's impression. In order to show the characteristic fully, the main body of the thesis focus on "the Great Four Cleans" led by "the working team leadership of ten thousands of people".This thesis focus on the movement basically in the order of time, some chapters has also broken time order but spreads out with the special subject. The thesis consists of three parts: introduction and body of five chapters and conclusion part.The first chapter talks about natural conditions and social customs and history status of Qi He County Shandong Province. By the introduction of the physical geography status of Qi He County, we can deepen understanding of reasons of the "natural calamities"about 1960. By the carding of its social and historical status, we can know the characteristic of its history and culture, then understand and explain the correlative social and historical factors affecting the county's Four Cleans Movement much better. The second chapter introduces the historical background of the Four Cleans Movement in Qi He County. Description of history event can not be seprated from specially appointed space-time coordinate. Microcosmic history event need understanding and explaining in its macroscopic background. This chapter introduces the macroscopic background of the Four Cleans Movement in Qi He County through carding to the countrywide circumstances at that time and the situation of the Four Cleans Movement in Shandong Province. This carding is the necessary precondition to understand and explain the Four Cleans Movement in Qi He County.The third chapter cards the rectification of working styles and society and "Little Four Cleans" condition in Qi He County.
