The Mideast nationalism, came into being on the basis of awaking of the Mideast nations, a kind of "outer origin" ideology, is a trend of social and political thought that all the nations in the region strived for survival, equality, autonomy, independence and development and so on, gives great influences to all the nations. It still was the replacer of original religious culture impedance in some periods of the Mideast history. The influence was at the apex in 1970s. After then, it fallen into the period of falling apart, gradually being the state: the coexist of national split and national convergence, the interaction of Islamic revival and nation states rebound, the fight of the struggle of unfounded states of nations and the Mideast states harassed by the former's struggles. The main line of the Mideast nationalism of post-cold war is much more chaos than it was in the cold war period. In order to design the paper logically, the author divided it into five parts on the basis of the development of the Mideast history vertically and horizontally. Firstly, by reviewing the concept of human colony organization, it can grasp the core of the formation and evolvement of the nation, further to understand the conception of nationalism more concisely. Nationalism, as a colony ideology concept from the west, some scholars thought it as "Imagined Community", the energy of it even made the world puzzle. When the colony of human with the concept of nationalism is composited, the conflict and fight of human swallows the nations all over the world. Nationalism that influenced all countries hugely in some special phases became a trend, so it was in the Middle East. But the Mideast nationalism is more unique than the other regions'. Based on the existed studies, make the type and character of the Mideast nationalism clear in the post-cold war. Secondly, mainly concentrated on the interim and aftermath of cold war, the Mideast inflicted by the Gulf, Afghanistan and Iraqi War, almost all the nations faced by the issues made their rational choices, which made the existed splits developed deeper. Thirdly, in the early term of the post-cold war, the unfounded nations had thought that the series War had made the chances for them to found a nation state, but the fact was not so, they came through the excitement and disappointment. While those founded states nations began the course of revival on the basis of state-nation benefits. Fourthly, by analyzing the reasons of the Islamic Revivalism, such as the frustrations inflicted by the modernization, interaction with the West, and conflict with Israel, further to understand the relationship of the Mideast nationalism and the Islamic Revivalism deeply. Especially, the U.S.A., attached by terrorists on September 11 2001, tasted the "Acid Fruit", which made it understand the main tasks and enemies at present, but the wars launched by America "to make the Mideast region more democracy and better" caused the Mideast become the most active region of terrorism and the Mideast nation states in a dilemma. Finally, based on the former analysis, it comes to the conclusions that new development trends and expectation of the Mideast nationalism can be summarized. At present, the study of the Mideast nationalism of post-cold war is still not systematic, just the collection of patches of the studies, so it is necessary to deepen and system it. If the works were done, it's helpful to understand the evolvement of the concept of the Mideast nationalism and its epoch characters, to grasp the law of the global terrorism development and the international community evolution, to explain the orientation of the Mideast countries' policy, to comprehend the interaction among the Mideast region, the West and other regions.
