Homesickness And Chinese Modern Life Poetry

China in the 20^th century is in an overall reform era from politics, economy to society and culture. In such great changing times, writers, as the spokesperson for thoughts of modern Chinese, are faced with the hunger and worries of expression, especially the ones with strong life senses. In their words world, a painful struggle in the bottom of the soul, by means of poetry, is expressed, which made itself one of the highlights during the history of modern Chinese thoughts.This pain of soul is expressed, in the affection mode of modern homesickness, as expression of life poetry in literature. This thesis will take three representative writers, Lu Xun, Xiao Hong and Mu Dan, as the target of research, and start from the relationship between homesickness culture and modern life poetry, and try to explore the founding and developing of Chinese modern life poetry through the understanding of their works and their thoughts. Though with different writing styles, they have a close and similar thoughts explore and show a real nature of poetry in their works. This kind of expression takes culture background as reference and their own feelings for life as the target for describing, and the latter is more obviously shown in their works. Lu Xun, Xiao Hong and Mu Dan are poets in the sense of identity and their works embody the harmony between thoughts and poetry.Because of the lack of belief in modern Chinese hearts, homesickness everywhere could be found, and many writers leaved their homes and lived in other places, which strengthened this kind of homesickness, and gave birth of the modern homesickness literature. Lu Xun, Xiao Hong and Mu Dan, just under such situation, expressed the homesickness in the sense of modern life poetry by the efforts of"the bottom part of sufferings". This modern life poetry expression embodies a special nature of China and is the closest expression for literature identity in Chinese modern literature history and shows strong nature of poetry and clear thoughts. They made a new system of Chinese modern life poetry by their own writing and embodied the spirits and esthetics sense expressed by Chinese modern literature, which has a very important value.Homesickness is the main subject for composing in Chinese modern literature and childhood, homeland and land are its three main parts. In the sense of time, childhood is the primitive life origin for composing and in the sense of space, homeland is the main story theme and land is the main story happening place. Childhood, homeland and land are much closer to life itself and much closer to poetry of thoughts world. This thesis takes the relationship between homesickness culture and Chinese modern life poetry as the main research subject and takes the core of homesickness culture—childhood, homeland and land as the research target, and will explain the meaning of modern life poetry, which takes Lu Xun, Xiao Hong and Mu Dan as its center, through three chapters, childhood story, homeland homesickness and land feelings.In the first chapter, childhood story, the author will start from child's discovery, the view of child, writing childhood and mythology about childhood; explore the effect of childhood on Lu Xun and Mu Dan's poetry world. In the chapter of homeland story, the author will explore the style, situation for homeland into the literature world and the differences and similarity among different writers on homeland subject, and the changes of three levels of homeland writing, common, beauty and belief, tradition, language and mythology as the symbols in poetry and death writing, afterworld search and death as the long-term meanings. In the chapter of land, the author mainly research on the consciousness of land, the meaning of land, the expression for space, landless and poetry deny, land as media and the meaning of land in poetry. All these researches take the founding of Chinese modern poetry of Lu Xun, Xiao Hong and Mu Dan centered as the core of poetry, and the thoughts core is for the writer to remember childhood, look for homeland and walk on land, and is the search for belief in final home. From this side to the other, I think modern life poetry is the most confidential and most moving literature expression.
