By analysing "experience of Japan" of the modern Chinese writers studying in Japan, the thesis tries to summarize the inherent law of modern Chinese literature's emergence. From the end of the Qing Dynasty to the "May Fourth" New Literature Movement, which is generally considered as the "emergence period" of modern Chinese literature, and it is in the course of period that Chineseliterature strived to change its weak and feeble situation and to develop a new way for Chinese literature's future with the utmost fortitude. In the past study,we paid more attention to exploring the significance of the "modern transformation" from the angle of comparative literature's "influence study";while the opinion of this thesis is that "influence study" can expound the change of those chinese writers' mind completely,so rerecognizing "experience" may reveal many details of modern Chinese literature's emergence more specifically. The article falls into five parts. The first part is "introduction".It mainly sums up the basic method that nowadays we use in studying the emergence of modern Chinese literature----the model of expounding "literatures exchanging between China and foreign countries".The article points out that the rationality of the troditional studying model is that it indeed reflects the historical fact of literatures exchanging which is just the background of modern Chinese literature's emergence and development;but at present,we also must see the model exists some kind of barrier for our comprehending the complex spiritual phenomenon,literature-producing,because originators' creating spiritual product is essentially not to "transplant" concepts but to experience and express their own lives. In this sense, relating to a spiritual phenomenon of our intrinsic mode of life-exsiting----experience,which is worthy of our attention. In a great deal of the modern Chinese writers' experience in foreign countries,"experience of Japan" is firstly worthy to be analysed conscientiously. The second part mainly discusses some "new terms" which the Chinese writers studying in Japan met with, and their ideologies' change that these new terms brought about. The terms include "nation","revolution","evolution","world","new democracy" and "mental and physical efforts".The third part mainly analyses "experience of Japan" of the intellectuals with their central characters Huang Zunxian and Liang Qichao.Their initial knowledge directly pushed forward those several "style revolutions" of Chinese literature at the end of the Qing Dynasty, and showed the possibility of Chinese literature's modern evolution.Definitely, because of the difference in those individual experience's depths, each of the "style revolutins"made relatively different achievements. The fourth part focuses on "experience of Japan" of the brothers Lu xiu and Zhou Zuoren and the relation between their experience and their exploration of literature. The article points out that "experience of japan" of Huang Zunxian,Liang Qichao and other writers of their times mainly took building up the nation and country as their basic stand, that is to say, they experienced Japan from the aspect of China's general crisis, and regarded literature as a method for solving the crisis. However, for Lu Xun and Zhou Zuoren, the situation changed a lot: Lu Xiu and Zhou Zuoren experienced and explained Japan mainly depending on individual life, and also based on this...
