Human psychological commonsense (or psychological commonsense) is a special kind of commonsense related to human psychological phenomena, and is an important portion of human commonsense. Formalized Psychological commonsense is indispensable in intelligent systems humanization, and we believe that research on the formalization of psychological commonsense not only contributes to artificial intelligence but also promote cognitive psychology. It is certain that different groups of people have different psychological commonsense. To a certain group of people under some given circumstances, their psychological commonsense represents the psychological phenomena and features unique to and shared by that group. As it is hard to acquire psychological commonsense due to its large-scale, ubiquity, environment-dependency and fuzziness, we have developed a method of psychological categorization to organize all the attributes, concepts, and assertions of psychological commonsense. Using this method, psychological commonsense can be sorted out into different categories, and problems, such as blindness in acquisition, inconsistency and redundancy, can be solved or be controlled effectively. Our research on the formalization of psychological commonsense focuses on three major issues: attributes, concepts and assertions of psychological commonsense:(1) Psychological commonsense attributes. Based on an understanding of psychological commonsense basic concepts and attributes, sub-category generation rules were introduced to automatically acquire concepts, whose semantic components are basic concepts and psychological commonsense attributes; sub-category checking rules were introduced to identify inconsistencies and redundancies in new concepts. Furthermore, the traditional notion of conceptual spaces was extended to a psychological commonsense concept space, which was then further extended to be a fuzzy concept space to deal with fuzziness in psychological commonsense concepts.
