Ma Zhu is one of the Hui Zu representatives of interpreting and translating Islamic Works from Arabic into Chinese during Ming and Qing (1550-1750) dynasty. In this dissertation, I will mainly probe into the stories all about his life and his thoughts.I first of all reviewed the cause of the research, briefly introduced the research related text, one of Ma Zhu's famous works, Qingzhen Zhinan (The Guide Book of Islam) of its content. And I also reviewed and summarized some research work concerned with the topic I shall cover, pointed out the insufficient aspects of the outputs of the research by some scholars about Ma Zhu and his Qingzhen Zhinan. Based on these insufficiencies, I proposed my personal research approaches of him and his achievements: Guided by the dialectical materialism, implementing the research approaches of history, the sociology, and psychology etc. Concretely, depending on the official history, chorography and pedigree, history approach was taken on the research of Ma Zhu of his life experience, stories and correspondent events.
