Trying to have a bird's-eye view on the language form of the modern new poetry, thethesis investigates the Chinese modern new poetry from the angle of the verse language.When Chinese verse advances from classical times to modern times, the conversion oflanguage was not only an important step but also an important ruler to be self-identified.The thesis has a foothold to learn in the occurrence, provides more reasonable angle ofview to hold the whole beauty characteristic of the modern new poetry and the insidealignment of Chinese verse, and then puts the modern new poetry into the history chainbetween the traditional Chinese verse and the contemporary Chinese verse to investigatethe meaning of its change.The thesis divides into three parts: the introduction, the text and the conclusion.For the sake of describing easily, the introduction is lay particular emphasis onshowing the content that settled in advance for theories to be launched, such as presentconditions, problems, ways and the methods in the language study of the modern newpoetry. The traditional research pass wades the point of departure when we researcheslanguage problem in the modern new poetry is usually the static-state linguistics, i.e., itexplains the rhythm, rhyme and choice of vocabulary from the opposite static layer of thephrase, such as the pure phrase logic and the grammar layer and so on. Though this kind ofangle of view of does major contribution in studying language of the modern new poetry, italso brings the irregularity of analysis equally, because its abstract and regular analyticmethod can't correspond with the modern new poetry whose expression of character isfreedom and immediate, and thus obstructs us to have further cognition of the language ofthe modern new poetry. Based on the related knowledge of the structure linguistics, thesign learn, and the occurrence learn and so on, the thesis treats language as a dynamicprocess to say rather than pure appearance of the static-state linguistics. In the process ofcombing the present condition of language study of the modern new poetry, theintroduction points out specially the research stubborn of the visual field that brought bythe 2-dimentional oppositional thinking and the non-essence explain and the predicamentin explaining the modern new poetry brought by the "absolute accuracy" of the logic pointinsisted by each system of explaining. Setting out from the whole angle of the modern newpoetry, it explains the necessity of regarding verse language as the newly correspond angleof visual field and logic point to explain. It has a newer division among modern newpoetries from the angle of language, thus gets away from the traditional non-poetrydivision dimensions and comes back to itself. Establishing the creative problemconsciousness and brief writing methods for the whole thesis, the introduction establishesthe whole keynote of the thesis.The aim of the chapter 1 of the thesis is to provide the basic concepts and theories tolaunch the thesis. After summarizing the text practices on traditional Chinese verse andwestern verse, the thesis regards "contrary theory" in expression as the essential content ofverse language, and believes that the outside aim of verse language is to adopt all kinds ofstrategies of language to express the essential characteristic of the verse language and thusthe verse language has a variety of states of expression of verse language. Moreover,different language mediums decide different language strategies that the verse will adopt,so the chapter inquires into the basic content of modern vernacular which is the languagemedium of the modern new poetry, believes that the basic content of the modernvernacular is to make clear the characteristic of expression and establish the meaning ofphrase and the norm of modern grammar, and also investigates the complex relationsbetween the modern vernacular and the vernacular movement in the late-Qing dynasty orthe classical Chinese by contrast, so as to provide for us with the language premier to studythe expression of language of the modern new poetry. After all these, the chapter mentionsthe language strategy of modern times whose characteristic is "metaphorical wholly".The content of chapter 2 is lay particular emphasis on how to treat the languagestrategy of the modern new poetry from the angle of modern time and the concept of valuebrought by it. Time is an important ruler to divide and differentiate different things, so it isalso an important reference with the aid of which the modern new poetry can be wellstudied. The factor of time is still an initial discretion angle of view in the course ofinvestigating into the modernity problem of modern poetry. The part mainly discusses the language's conversion of the modern newpoetry. As external symbol of thinking, each deeply innovation of language means an utterchange of thinking. The modern vernacular takes the place of the traditional classicalChinese is the result of the modern textual thinking taking the place of the traditionalmetaphysical thinking. The modern textual thinking decides modern vernacular to begrammatical in expression and accurate in the meaning, thus not only decides that themodern new poetry can't break away from the influence of prose likely. From Hu Shi inthe earlier times to Feng Wenbing in the later times, we all like to "regard text as poetry",and it means that the modern new poetry hasn't been independent in language expression.The chapter 4 is lay particular emphasis on studying the expression state of language ofthe modern poetry in initial stage and the "new-moon" poem school. After having studiedlots of texts and analyzed them by many theories, the thesis believes that the greatestcharacteristic of the modern poetry in initial stage is anti-traditional. But, because of themodern vernacular in initial stage being not mature and poets' overdoing in opinions ofvalue in that times, the modern poetry in initial stage does more in destruction and less inbuilding and its expression of language is in confusion,. The thesis goes beyond thetraditional visual field of the study whose characteristic is standard,and thinks that thetraditional study can't understand the text essence of the new-moon poem school. So, thethesis regards regular language of the study about poetry as the aim of language that thenew-moon poems want to build. The new-moon poem school helps the modern new poetryto come back to itself and its Chinese identity, and it is also the first explorer whose aim isthe text's essence of the modern new poetry.The chapter 5 is lay particular emphasis on studying the expression state of languagenot only of the modernism modern poetry but also of the realist modern poetry. The thesisbelieves that the modernism modern poetry builds the essence for poetry whosecharacteristics are "inside-watching and imagination", and on the base of non-domesticpoetry and traditional Chinese poetry, it rebuilds the language identity of the modern newpoetry according to the language characteristic of modern vernacular. It is not only a kindof synthetic language art on the foundation of philosophy metaphor, but also a kind offresh creation. Its emergence symbolizes that the modern new poetry has broke away fromthe traditional dimensions to discriminate on the level of language and realized its modernidentity. For the realist modern poetry, the thesis is lay emphasis on its color of race andmainland, and emphasizes the interference on the modern new poetry that comes frompolitical factors.The conclusion part of the thesis re-examines the modern new poetry from thelanguage angle of vie wholly and the influence on the language style of the new poetry ofcontemporary times that comes from the language principle of the modern new poetry.
