As a case study, the Yong Jia (永嘉)school of philosophy as representative of Wen Zhou (温州) region culture in Southern Song Dynasty could draw the conclusions as below:(l)The interaction between cultural center and margin district, showed an input - back feeding mode. In chapter one of this thesis we discussed the process that Neo-Confucianism of Er-Cheng(二程) input to Wen Zhou, in chapter two discussed this input has changed the margin position of Wenzhou Culture in Southern Song Dynasty, in chapter three, four, and five,discussed the Wen Zhou scholar-bureaucrats' reflection and reconstruction to Neo-Confucianism legacy, and turned out" the school of Yong jia ". Through the disputation with Zhu Xi (朱熹) , this school had enriched the philosophy of Neo-Confucianism mainstream alternatively. In chapter six, Zhu Xi's school has conquered Wen Zhou finally. The whole process reflect the interaction of mainsteam culture and margin district culture, and this could respond for the viewpoint of western Sinology scholar that local intellectual elite tend to pay more attention to local business.(2)The second focus of thesis ,is to eximane exchanges of culture capital and social capital which take place in Wen Zhou in the Southern Song Dynasty. The input of new knowledgs, has brought the advantage on imperial examinations. When the cultural center is in the He Luo(河洛) area, the locality got the convenience in all respects of imperial examinations too, and the Wen Zhou scholars had to go there to seek the new nutrient of thought and study the knowledge of imperial examinations. When cultural center had move to South Yang-zi River area, Wen Zhou made a combination in some degree of knowledge on imperial examinations and Yong Jia school philosophy, thus made the advantage in the department field.
