This text in large measure summarizes aspects of Adornos conception of Mimesis from his three major work: Dialectics of Enlightenment, Negative Dialectics and Aesthetic Theory. Firstly in the first Chapter, mimesis is introduced in an anthroplogic dimention in Dialectics of Enlightenment, which is written by Adorno and Horkheim. According to them the mimetic ablility of human being suffered a alienation in the Process of Enlightenment, during which men found himself fall back into a unfree condition caused by reason, which he take as alternative to mimesis to protect himself against Nature. And their use of this concept is influenced by Benjamin. In the second Chapter the author take mimesis as a viewpoint, form which negative Dialectics, the most important philosphic conception of Adorno' s, is discribed as a project of mimesis into pilosophy. And his concepton of naturealhistory can also be seen as a effort to develop the mimetic moment in philosophy. In the second Chapter the conception of mimesis is related to its original use to discribe the relation between art and nature. Mimetic moment in philosophy can be understood as aesthetic moment which is a moment of redemption in Kant, Hegel and Benjamin. And Adorno' s intentino is to take their project of Aesthetic a turn, which will lead to the revival of mimeticability.
