The Timing Of The Temporality Of Narrative Explanation - Paul Ricoeur Time And Narrative "

This dissertation consists of seven parts:the preface and six chapters.Inthe preface,the author mainly introduced the research situations about the famous modern French philosopher Paul Ricoeur, his theory of philosophy and above all hermeneutics both in Chinese academic area and in the international one; and it is most important that the author put forward his new view-point of "the hermeneutics of time ".Chapter one ,the author summarize the relationship between Ricoeur's philosophy and the problem of temporality. Chapter two,the author elucidated clearly the "origin" of the problem of temporality in the history of western philosophy, in this regard,the author especially put a high value on the great works Time and Being by Heidegger. Chapter three, by investigating respectively the aporias of the experience of time in book 11 of Augustine's Confessions and the problem of emplotment of Aristotle's Poetics and finally bringing together these two texts,the author discussed deeply the problem of constitution of Ricoeur's narrated time. Chapter four, by investigating Ricoeur's explication of the traditional theory of time and his assessment of the Heidegger's "being-towards-death", the author discussed deeply the problem of Ricoeur's narrative explication of the aporetics of temporality. Chapter five,its contents was omited , the author had a plan to discuss deeply the problem of the relationship between Ricoeur's narrated time and the theological extension;and the author just pay more attention to the relationship between Ricoeur's narrated time and the concept of absolute "other" in modern French philosophy. Chapter six, its contents was omited too, the author had a plan to enunciate his new view-point of "the hermeneutics of time ".
