A New Interpretation Of Environmental Problems

Today, the environmental problem has been a global tickler that badgers the human's survival and development. Researching the environmental problem need the guidance of the historical viewpoint of materialism of Marxism. At the same time, researching the environmental problem can also develop the historical viewpoint of materialism. From the historical viewpoint of materialism, researching the environmental problem is a new task. Researching the question has very important significance to not only our country's construction of the environment, but also the solution of the worldwide environmental problem and the future development of the human.The article begins with assaying the environmental problem forming and conditions. The article has the main thread as the elements of the social existence and the social consciousness and the relation between the two. The article probes the relation between the human and the nature, between the environment and the population, between the environment and the fashion of production, between the environment and the pattern of consumption, between the environmental problem and the formation consciousness. We try to find the realistic way to solve the environmental problem from the theoretical analysis and the historical exploration to the environmental problem. This article expounds the guiding significance to researching the environmental problem of the historical viewpoint of materialism and the new fields that researching the environmental problem evolves in the historical viewpoint of materialism. The whole article concludes six chapters.Chapter one: The relation between the human and the natural environment is explored form the historical viewpoint. I point out that the evolution of the human's viewpoint to the natural environment goes with the people's acquaintance to the relation between the human and the nature. This is a course of negating the negation. People's actions have obverse and negative impacting to the habitat. This article mainly probes the social impacting of "the geo-environment determinism" over-exaggerated the social impact of the geo-environment. Chinese traditional geo-environmental theory neglected or debased the social impact of the geo-environment. I pointed out and proofed the viewpoint that "the geo-environment has determining impact to the society's development in certain meaning and extent".Chapter two: The relation between the environment and the population is explored. The being is not only producer but also consumer. The quantity and quality of population impact the transformation of the environment. Therefore the quantity of population should be kept in propriety extent and the quality of population should be improved on and on. I proof that the environment and the population are two reactive social existence elements in the human society developing.Chapter three: The relation between the environment and the fashion of productionis explored. The sustainable development thinking that Marxism theory of productive force comprises was assayed. A new concept is pointed out that the productive force is "the power that the human rebuild and harmony the relation between the people and the nature. The idea that protecting the environment is protecting productive force is proofed in the article. I point out that we should not look on the character of the relation of production as the only and foundation reason that results in the environmental problem.
