In the history of Chinese literature, the earliest poetry anthology that handed down is the Book of Songs. Although the statement in Shiji that Confucius revised the Book of Songs spread among scholars, meanwhile, Discussions about some questions, such as, the times that poems were produced and the text of Songs was edited, did not suspend. After a brief account about the history that Zhou dynasty established, and the truthfulness about Zhougong lay down the ceremony system of Zhou Dynasty, author investigates those ceremony songs that produced in this period. Following last section, the author analyses the ceremony songs in the middle of Western Zhou Dynasty in the third chapter.
