| Yuan Zhen, one of Mid ï¼ Tang dynastic masters in poetry and prose, has exerted great influence on the history of literature. However, the research of Yuan zhen has been too inadequate to match his position and significance. This dissertation consists of three parts, and lays particular emphasis on the study at the angle of document.The first part focuses on examining and correcting of Yuan Zhen's life. It corrects some previous viewpoints, such as the matter of Yuan Zhen's first attempt to be an official, the place where his wife Wei Cong died, when and where Yuan Zhen married Pei Shu. It also makes up a deficiency of some Minor problem that have been over looked, for instance, Yuan Zhen's visit to Luo-Yang city.The second part stresses on 74 wrong revisions, more than 230 omitted revisions and false revision style in collected works of Yuan Zhen by the publishing House Zhong Hua Books Bureau. It brings up again the works that should not be included and repetitions and faulty punctuation etc. It also mends and supplements the chronological table of his about 40 pieces of works. The third part mainly discusses and emends Yuan Zhen's poems in reply, his pornographic poems, memorial poems and Yue ï¼ Fu poems. A few chapters in part two and the whole part three are not printed due to the limited space. |
