By comparing Case endings of Mediaeval Mongolian Language and Mongolian Languages, the paper tries to fully explain the historical origin of those Case endings on the basis of the development law of speech sounds. The paper is composed of four parts.In the introduction part, it mainly relates and summarizes the research situations and results of foreign and domestic scholars on Mediaeval Mongolian Language, Modern Mongolian Languages, and various Mongolian languages; meanwhile, the methodology, research aim, meaning of the paper and the sources of the language data applied in the paper are given in this part.Chapter One introduces the research object--Mediaeval Mongolian Language and Mongolian Languages. The first section, taking books as Middle Mongolian is which refers to language development time fault and Middle Mongolian main grammatical features as entry points, generally represents what Mediaeval Mongolian Language is. The second section, taking how the Division of Mongolian Languages and The Mongolian Languages of Survey as the points of penetration, introduces about Mongolian languages. The third section narrates about the relation between Mediaeval Mongolian Language and Mongolian languages.Chapter Two is the core part of the paper in which the comparative study between Case endings of Mediaeval Mongolian Language and those of various Mongolian languages are conducted. During the process, materials of Turkic Languages and Manchu-Tungus Languages are widely applied as they are required by the study. The first section focuses on the comparison of basic cases such as nominative case, objective cases, dative-locative and so on. The second section studies on other non-basic cases such as dative, degree cases, etc.Chapter Three mainly compares the declension of personal pronouns in Mediaeval Mongolian Language and various Mongolian languages. The first section recounts the declension of personal pronouns in Mediaeval Mongolian Language. The second section compares the declension of personal pronouns in various Mongolian languages and conducts reasoning by relating it with that of Mediaeval Mongolian Language. |
