Study In Chidu Of Dunhuang' Manuscript

The doctoral thesis is made up of exordium and ten chapters. The introduction is a summary on objectives, purview and methods which the thesis apply to. Surveyed course of several researches into the history of Dunhuang manuscript (literatures and documents), the article is carrying out studies theory of inscriptions on bamboo slips or wooden tablet简牍学and studies methods of writ文书学into text modality, text style classification, the origin of text style.The two volumes compose the texts. The volumes I are made up of seven chapters. The first chapter and the other six chapters are appearance characteristic of Dunhuang manuscript and text style classification, application, diversification. On the basis of written characteristic, the manuscript are assorted to drafts, finalizes, duplicates, transcriptions as well as a number of text style. And it stresses the point that the origin of text style, the variations of the text style, the practice of the text style in Tang and song dynasties (from AD.755to AD.1002). The seven chapter is about the auxiliary of Dunhuang manuscript Chidu, including postscript, responses, signet, envelop and sealing. The volumes Ⅱ are made up of three chapters. It emphasizes the important historical, political, martial, cultural literature value of the Dunhuang manuscript Chidu. In short, The doctoral thesis research the history of the Tang and Song dynasties verticality and transversely, macroscopically and microcosmically promoting to making progress in Dunhuang studies.
