In this study, we investigated the clinical feasibility and accuracy of diagnosis for coronary artery disease (CAD) using the method of combination of CT coronary angiography and myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI), which was the noninvasive way and provided both anatomical and functional information of the CAD.In the partâ… , we investigated the clinical feasibility and accuracy of diagnosis for CAD using the method of combination of Computed Tomography Coronary Angiography (CTCA) and adenosine stress/rest myocardial perfusion scintigraphy (MPS). Compared with invasive Coronary Angiography (CAG), CTCA not only could provide accurate anatomical information of coronary arterial lumen, but also could show the range and characteristic of the atherosclerotic plaque on the vessel wall. CTCA had relatively higher sensitivity and negative predictive value (NPV) for diagnosis of CAD. The procedure of adenosine stress/rest MPS was safe and feasible, which could provide functional information on myocardial perfusion accurately. Compared with CTCA, CTCA+MPS could provide both anatomical and functional information of the CAD and improve the specificity and positive predictive value (PPV) for diagnosis of CAD. Also, CTCA+MPS could detect the flow-limiting stenosis accurately, which could become the suitable gatekeeper for the revascularization treatment. In the partâ…¡, we investigated the clinical feasibility and accuracy for diagnosis of CAD using combination of CTCA and CT myocardial perfusion imaging (CT MPI) simultaneously at rest. The experiment I figured that CT MPI at rest was comparable with the stress/rest MPS on diagnosis of CAD. The experimentâ…¡figured that CTCA+CT MPI could accurately provide anatomical and functional information of the CAD simultaneously without any additional radiation dose, clinical expenditure, contrast agent dosage and time, which could become the "one-stop-shop" for diagnosis of CAD. Additionally, CTCA+CT MPI could also detect the flow-limiting stenosis accurately.
