1ObjectiveThe growth and metastasis of malignant tumor depends on microvascular to providenutrition to it. Brest cancer is a kind of common tumor and ,microvessel in the tumor tissue isrich. There is closed relationship between the microvessel density in tumor ,vessels relatedfactors and the prognosis of breast cancer. Our objective is to observe the antitumor effect ofgreen tea polyphenols, and to make a deeper study in its inhibiting angiogenesis effect andmolecular mechanism. The expression of microvessel density and vessels related factors invitalorgansarealsodetectedtoevaluatethespecificityofitsantiangiogenesiseffect.2MethodsMammary adenocarcinoma EMT6 was cultured and propagated, then implanted onfemaleBALB/cmice.Teapolyphenolswasperoraladministratedandlocalinjected.Antitumoreffct was determined with regular methods, the expression of MVD, VEGF, bFGF,TIMP-2and C-Jun in tumor tissue and MVD, VEGF, TIMP-2 in vital organs(heart, brain and kidney)were detected by immunohistochemical method to observe the molecular mechanism ofantiangiogenesisanditsspecificityofteapolyphenols3ResultsThe results proved that tea polyphenols have effects as follow:①It can significantlygrowth of tumor on implanted brest cancer mice;②It can reduce the expression ofmicrovessel densityintumortissue.③It canreducetheexpressionofVEGF,bFGFandC-Junin tumor tissue.④It can increase the expression of TIMP-2 in tumor tissue.⑤It have nosignificant effect on the expression of MVD, VEGF, TIMP-2 on vital organs such as heart,brainandkidney.4ConclusionTea is one of people's favorit beverage,it has the function of clearing head and eyes, expelling thirst, resolving phlegm, removing food retention, inducing diuresis and relievingtoxicity. It could treat headache, dizziness, somnolence, dysphoria, thirst, food retention, etc. This study showed that the main ingredient of tea (polyphenols) not only could inhibit thegrowth of tumor cells, resist mutation, induce apoptosis and differentiation of tumor cells, butalsohaveinhibitoryeffectontumorangiogenesisandhavenosignificanteffectonvitalorgans.Thiscreativediscoveryofferabroadprospectinclinicalapplicationinoncotherapyarea.
