| In the dissertation I summarize the recent advances and existing problems through the review of the literature in the field of ambulatory blood pressure (ABP) and perform the research on the following three aspects in ABP.1. Relation between ABP and clinical blood pressure (CBP): (1) in analyzing the characteristics of ABP in isolated systolic hypertension (ISH) based on CBP, it was found that the circadian blood pressure rhythm, blood pressure loads and ratios of various ABP were different in ISH fro(?) in combined systolic/diastolic hypertension, borderline hypertension, normotension; (2) in multiple regression analysis of correlations of ABP and various and handgrip and treadmill exercise CBP, it was found that there are close relation between CBP and ABP and patterns of readily obtained clinical blood pressure can account for 20-50% variation in ambulatory blood pressure and heart rate; (3) therefore, both CBP and ABP reflect blood pressure to a certain extent and are closely associated with each other.2. The effect of ABP and CBP, as independent variables, on target organs: (1). Left ventricular structures, including interventricular septal thickness and left ventricular posterior wall thickness at end-diastole and end-systole, were significantly correlated with ABP, esp night diastolic blood pressure and whole-day systolic blood pressure and nonsignificantly related to CBP in ISH. (2). Renal function damages ,esp tubular reabsorption, were significantly correlated with ABP, esp awaking systolic blood pressure; awaking systolic blood pressure could account for... |
