The environment of human inhabitation is intimately related to human health conditions. The influence of environment on health condition, although as subtle as transcendental phenomena can be, is extensive and encompasses emotional variations, psychological effects, as well as the delicate interactions between the health conditions and the wholesomeness of respiration, and the correspondence of analogous article dispositions. Furthermore, such influences have gradually been discovered and researched by modern preventive medical science. This thesis is divided into eight parts: the uniformity of human body and nature environment, the relationship between "Qi" and health, the organic land theory, the choice of site of inhabitation — formation of residential clusters, the intimacy between living environment and human health, the psychological factor in human inhabitation, the totality of perceptive human inhabitation, and the research and design of healthy human inhabitation. Each topic was discussed in depth with the foundation being laid on "Huandi Neijing" ( The Yellow Emperor' s Internal Canon of Medicine ) , as well as many masterpieces of famous doctors in the Chinese history. This research, from various angles as well as different analytical levels, is dedicated to studying the interrelationship between the human body and its inhabitation. Parallel to that, the theory of "Qi", a physical phenomena emphasized by Chinese doctors, and psychology were combined in a systematic way with the big picture being the research and design of a healthy inhabitation.
