The Fatigue is not only a very familiar phenomenon, which can be found in the health or sick person, but also a normal symptom exists in each system. The technical terms of the Fatigue are disunity, which resulted in the condition using the same terms to describe different Fatigue appearance. Therefore, to research the Fatigue is very difficult.The thesis is discussed the history and content about the terms of the Fatigue from the modern and before medicine documents. The aim is to let the technical terms of the Fatigue unity for the clinical diagnose.The thesis included three parts: describe the conception, classification of the technical terms of the Fatigue and the discussion of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CSF); analysis modern and before medicine documents about the history and content of the terms of the Fatigue.1 .The Fatigue conception, classification and Chronic Fatigue SyndromeThrough research modern documents and the reference books, induce the related conception, classification and mechanism of the fatigue, and summarize the conception, nomination, etiological factor, mechanism, diagnosis and treatment.2.The description and the understanding of the terms of the Fatigue in modern Chinese medicineThrough check in the current general textbook,《Diagnology of TCM》 , 《Internal medicine of TCM》 , 《Gynecology of TCM》 , 《Pediatrics of TCM》 and "the nation norm of Chinese medical material", the thesis counts the frequency of the terms of the Fatigue in the textbooks.The result show that the descriptions of the terms of the Fatigue in the books above are ShePi,ShenPiFaLi,ShenPiJuanDai,ShenPirJuan,ShenPiJianWang,JingShenWeiMiErYuShui,Ji ngShenWeiMi,JingShenJuanDai,JingShenPiJuan,FaLi,PiFaWuLi,JuanDaiFaLi,QiDuanFaLi,TiJ uanFaLi,SiZhiFaLi,SiZhiJuanDai,ShenJuanFaLi,PiJuanFaLi,PiLao,JuanDai,JuanDaiWuLi,Qua nShenFaLi,etc.3. The description and the understanding of the terms of the Fatigue in ancient Chinese medical documentsSelect out 10 common key words (PiLao, PiJuan, ShenPi, PiFa, LaoJuan, FaLi, ShenJuan, JuanDai, KunJuan, XieDai), and check the 703 ancient Chinese medicine books in the ZhongHuaYiDian disc. After that, arrange and analysis the paragraph which contain those key words, and analysis the history and content of each key words.From the collected data, the terms of the Fatigue, PiLao, PiFa, LaoJuan, FaLi, KuJuan, XieDai are appeared in QinHan dynasty. PiJuan, PiFa and ShenPi are appeared in Jin dynasty. JuanDai and ShenPi are appeared in Tang dynasty.These phrases are used in different dynasty. LaoJuan and PiFa are used frequently in QinHan period. LaoJuan, XieDai and FaLi are used more from Jin dynasty to Tang dynasty. LaoJuan is used more in the every dynasties mentioned above. FaLi, ShenPi, J uanDai and KunJuan are not used in the Jin and Sui dynasty. From Song to MingQing dynasty, not only LaoJuan is used frequently but also JuanDai and KunJuan are used more oftea In the MinGuo medicial books, JuanDai, ShenPi and ShenJuan are often used and ShenPi is used most.Above-mentioned phrases are often appeared as symptom in the ancient medicine books. But PiLao,ShenPi,PiFa,LaoJuan,KunJuan can also appear as the cause of the disease .They can be found in many diseases include Xu type and Shi type, such as YuZheng. In addition, PiLao and LaoJuan can appeared as a kind of disease.The abstracts of the original texts signify that the above- mentioned symptoms are caused by excessive tired, hannness of Qi from excessive use of strength, harmness from sex, excessive thinking and hannness of Qi caused by summer-heat, phlegm and dampness. The mechanism is related to liver, spleen and kidney closely.
