Holothuria Clinical Studies Of The Polysaccharide Capsule In Treating Cerebral Infarction Convalescence (yin Blood Stasis)

Ceberal infarct is common in cerebral blood vessel diseases. People have given much attention to its high rate of deformity and mortality in medical area. In this paper, we review and summariz the cognition of ancient Chinese medicine yet nowadays development of treatment on cerebral infarct.Based on Chinese and modern medical theories about stroke, we probe into the pathogenic mechanism and treatment at the convalescent period of cerebral infarct. We demonstrate the main pathogenesis is deficiency in both liver and kidney, stagnation of phlem ans blood stasis,using theraputic policies such as nourish Yin and tonify blood, promote blood circulation to remove obstruction in the channels, nourish the kidney syndrome essense.Yuzuduotang is an extractant from Yuzu sea cucumbers, containing more than 55% amylose.lt can nourish Yin and tonify blood, promote blood circulation to remove obstruction in the channels, nourish the kidney essense. Using Yuzuduotang capsules to treat 24 patients of yin-def iciency and blood stasis, comparing to the Gingko Leaf group. The treatment group is giving Yuzuduotang,oral, three times everyday and two capsules every time. Yet the contrast group is giving Gingko Leaf, oral, tree times everyday and one capsules every time. The treatment period lasts six weeks. The observation indexes are including:total point of forward and after Chinese symptoms, total point of neural dysfunctional presentations,single items of Chinese symptoms, single points of neural dysfunctional presentations, coronal CT, blood rheology test. The result shows that the rate of recovery and apparently effect of treatment group is 50%, the rate of efficacy is 100%; the rate of recovery and apparently effect of contrast group is 14.29%, the rate of efficacy is 100%, There is no stastistics significance between these two groups. There is nostastistics significance between observation indexes of the two groups either.So we can say Yuzuduotang has favorable clinical effects on cerebral infarct as Gingko Leaf. It' s worthwhile to do further studies on it.
