Objective: To study the effection of diabetes mellitus and infectionhepatitis B virus combined diabetes mellitus to hepatic fibrosis. Method: (1)To create a STZ-induced animal model of delayed-onsettype 1 diabetes mellitus(DM) in tree shrew. (2) To create a HBV(+)combined diabetes mellitus(HDM) animal model in tree shrew. After that,all animals were subdivided into 6 groups: DM group(group B), STZ-control group(group C), normal-control group (group A), HDMgroup(group B1,) STZ-control HDM group(group C1) and HBV(+)-controlgroup(group A1).
