Study On Influence Factors Of Oriented Efficacy Exertion Of Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis In Formula

Objective:To research the factors that influence the oriented exertions of wu wei zi (Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) in formulas.Methods:Collecting 850 formulas containing wu wei zi in Dictionary of Chinese Formulas Collection, established Excel form and sorted sorting dada of herbs, according to the classic prescription books and clinical works. To sum up the regulating factors, which including common compatibility structure, prepared types, dosage, form of medication, administration,etc.Results:wu wei zi has 4 main function and 11 oriented exertions. Which are first, reinforce and gather lung-qi, which includes astring lung-qi to stop coughing, reinforce and converge lung-qi, replenish lung to stop coughing. Second, reinforce kidney-qi and astring essence, which includes tonify kidney and astring essence, astring kidney-essence to converge pupil, tonify liver and kidney. Third, tonify heart and calm the mind, which includes tonify heart to calm, reinforce wei-qi and stop sweating, reinforce yin-qi to stop sweating. Forth, reinforce spleen-qi, which includes nourish qi to generate yin-fluid, antidarrhea with astring spleen-qi. When exerting function of reinforce and converge lung-qi, wu wei zi is usually made up a prescription with huang qi, ying su ke, xi xin, gan jiang, ma huang, bai bu, fang feng and so on. for calm and tonify the heart with suan zao ren, wu mei, mu li and so on, for tonify and converge kidney-essence with wu bei zi, ci shi, sang piao xiao, tu si zi and so on. For spleen-qi tonification, wu wei zi is usually made up a prescription with shi hu, bu gu zhi, mai men dong, ren shen and so on. The regulating factors that controlling functional exertion of wu wei zi in formula are compatibility environment, dosage, form of medication, preparation, usage. The compatibility environment are the most important regulating factor. The prepared types of wu wei zi do have different applications, raw one for external and lung syndrome, the one prepared with vinegar is mainly for reinforce the kidney and converge kidney-essence, wine prepared one is mainly for warm and calm, and honey prepared one is for coughing due to the deficiency of lung and kidney. The differnent dosage of wu wei zi play differently in clinical application, small dosage for astring lung-qi and stop coughing, high dosage for tonify and reinforce. The most frequent used form of wu wei zi is pill. And for good clinical effect wu wei zi should crush or grind in to small pieces before decotion.Conclusion:The functional exertion of wu wei zi in formula is mainly controlled by the factor of compatibility environment. Other factors including preparation of the herbs, dosage, form of medication and administration are also indispenable.
