Principal And Practical Study On A TCM Theory, Seven Emotions, Based On Current Emotional Psychology

BackgroundSeven Emotions theory is an important integral part of TCM system, and it is also an important part of TCM psychology. With the continuous progress of science and technology, rapid development of various disciplines showed a high degree of differentiation and high integration, modernization of the Chinese to become the inevitable trend of the times. Development of psychology can be said today is changing, how to research methods of contemporary psychology, psychology of traditional Chinese medicine-depth study and further excavation, with the aid of contemporary emotion psychology research results and concepts to the impassioned theory of transplantation Among the seven emotions theory of rationality and validity of scientific explanations and instructions is a new challenge for us.Objectives(1) To explore the relevance of the emotional psychology and seven emotions theory, Traditional Chinese Medicine; to further study the seven emotions theory, Based on current emotional psychology.(2) To establish the seven emotions scale, evaluate its reliability, validity, and form evaluation criteria of the seven emotions scale.(3) To survey college students'current situation of seven emotions, to analyze their distribution of the seven emotions, and explore the factors influencing by college students.(4) To compare the differences of psychotherapy among the modern psychology and Chinese medicine, to treat emotional disorder or seven emotions disease for college students with group psychotherapy and individual psychotherapy. Methods(1) The method of literature review and content analysis:to systematic collate and analyze the seven emotions theory, contemporary emotion theory, Chinese medicine psychotherapy and modern psychotherapy theories and literature.(2) The method of interviews and survey:semi-structured interviews and survey questionnaire methods to collect data from four universities in Chengdu.(3) Psychological Measurement Methods:The project analysis, correlation, factor law students selected the project and build the impassioned Scale reliability and validity.(4) Psychological treatments:A simple fast NLP psychotherapy, suffering from hate-guided method, relaxation training, rational emotive therapy, etc. Students mood disorder group therapy and individual therapy.Results(1) To deepen the theoretical study of seven emotions in traditional Chinese medicine:Chinese medicine found in the impassioned mood of contemporary psychology theory and relevance, while from the perspective of modern psychology impassioned under the doctrine of the rationality and effectiveness were discussed.(2) Seven Emotions Scale was completed with better reliability, validity:internal consistency coefficients were above.67, test-retest reliability are above.65, indicating good scale reliability; 7 subscales of the item and the related subscales were in between 0.2-0.7, and the seven subscales of the theoretical model and observational data are better fit, indicating good construct validity scale.(3) College students seven emotions investigation:Analysis of 923 college students the level of seven emotions of seven factors and found that the overall factor score of the highest joy, to 3.878, followed by thinking, anger, grief, anxiety, fear, surprise, and sex, grade and school type differences.(4) Students emotional disorders (seven emotions disease) Psychotherapy:using of NLP, suffering from hate-guided method, relaxation training, rational emotive therapy combined with psychological treatment such as Chinese and Western methods of emotion and group therapy and individual barriers to treatment with good results.Discussion(1) Although the seven emotions theory is rich and self-contained, but it still need to introduce modern concepts and methods of psychological research and further explore its depth, give full play to the characteristics and advantages of Chinese psychology.(2) Students seven emotions scale has good reliability and reliability, for the diagnosis and differentiation between emotional disorders (Emotional Disorders) provides a measurement tool, with distinct Chinese characteristics and local characteristics.(3) Students generally more optimistic about the status of the seven emotions, but thinking, anger, grief is also more emotional, and academic, interpersonal, and employment under the influence, in the four-year college in the state fluctuated.(4) The psychotherapy for students'emotional disorders should be further integration of Chinese and Western psychological therapy, and we should help students to find regulate mood for themselves.
