| Focused on the study of the plantation ussuri poplar wood, this paper aims to indicate the responses of the radial variation of poplar wood property to the climate changes. Above all, the paper analyzes the radial variation indexes of anatomical and physical characteristics of the plantation ussuri poplar wood in different cultivated models. Then, by means of correlation analyses, the paper shows the relevance of different indexes of the plantation ussuri poplar wood property in different cultivated models. Finally, adopting the method of function analysis, the paper discusses the associated effect of cultivated models and climate changes on anatomical and physical characteristics so as to provide suggestions for oriented cultivation of the plantation ussuri poplar wood.Through the study of radial variation indexes of anatomical and physical characteristics of the plantation ussuri poplar wood in different cultivated models, we can draw the conclusion that there are great differences in different cultivated models, especially for model one.(Baijiang soil on slope, thinning, the primary planted density is4m×4m)and model five.(Baijiang soil on slope, thinning, the primary planted density is4m×4m). The radial variation indexes of the same wood property are of great differences in different cultivated models. However, in the same cultivated model, the indexes of wood properties are similar or similar in variation.Through analyzing the relevance of the indexes of the plantation ussuri poplar wood properties in different cultivated models, we conclude that the indexes are of high relevance, no matter physical characteristics or anatomical characteristics. What is more, some indexes and other indexes are apparently relevant and typical. The physical characteristics mainly refer to the density of early wood and the width of late wood. Wood fibers mean the thickness of fiber walls of early wood and late wood. It is interesting to found that for some vessels, thickness is not the right index, but the width and length of vessels are based on the study of the associated effect of cultivated models and climate changing on anatomical and physical characteristics of the plantation ussuri poplar wood, We can draw conclusion that human disturbance changes the effect of climate factors on the growth of the plantation ussuri poplar wood. In cultivated model one, it has an effect on late wood width intensively as well as an effect on fiber walls thickness in models six, which causes the result that the relevant variations have a little influence on climate changes. The indexes of wood property in the other cultivated models are of difference due to the influence of climate.The growth of the plantation ussuri poplar wood was deeply influenced by the lowest ground temperature of Jan. and Feb., the average temperature from May to July, and the relative humidity of Sep. and Nov. It is quite different that autumn temperature has negative effect on the density of early wood in cultivated model two, while the relative humidity has positive effect on it. In addition, in cultivated model four, the thickness of fiber walls is affected by relative humidity. In cultivated model three, the vessel width of late wood is positively affected by the average temperature in March. The vessel length of late wood is deeply affected by the lowest temperature in Feb. and Jan. in cultivated model six.With scientific value and practical significance, this paper is intended to provide basic instructions for oriented cultivation of the plantation ussuri poplar wood. |
