Research On The Angriculture Landscape Of Chengdu Plain

Our country is in rapid urbanization period. There are very big changes around the countryside. The construction of new countryside, the introduction of modern agriculture, and the river collation and urban sprawl makes our country appeared "thousand villages of one appearance". Traditional agriculture landscape is facing serious challenges. As southwest important farming area, Chengdu plains has bred a profound farming civilization. Meanwhile, as the core of Chengdu plain's agricultural landscape, "LinPan" settlements and finely water system have obvious regional characteristic. At present, Chengdu city government proposed the development goals of " constructing a world modern garden city". Now people pay more attention to the development of agricultural landscape. The observation of Chengdu plains agricultural landscapes can dig the features and value of it, and also can clarify its evolution rule. Meanwhile, the observation has important practical significance in scientific planning of rural and urban area. The observation is also very important to the study of rural development and intensive land utilization. Many theories are comprehensively applied for this paper, such as rural sociology, landscape ecology, culture, landscape aesthetics and phenomenology. They are systematically used in agricultural landscape study. The main work accomplished and the main conclusions are obtained as follows:(1) Agricultural landscape includes natural elements and cultural elements. Past research usually focused on natural elements. Cultural elements have ignored. For the continuation of the regional characteristics of agricultural landscape, cultural factors must be reserved and developed. Production and living pattern is an important carrier of the cultural elements. The place spirit is the soul. It should be pay much attention to in rural planning.(2) This paper takes Chengdu plains of agricultural landscape as the research object and explores the reasons. The result shows:the existing Chengdu plains farmland pattern was formed in late Ming and early Qing dynasty's immigrants. The main reason lies in Chengdu plain water system of network structure. Many comprehensive factors also have effect on it, such as by then land policies, farmer's geopolitical relations, kinship factors.(3) Revealing Chengdu plains of agricultural landscape of morphological characteristics and evolution.A) Chengdu plains agricultural landscape morphology is different from the northern agriculture landscape, and also different with Jiangnan agricultural landscape obviously. The difference is mainly manifested in the water system structure, gathering pattern and farmland pattern.B) Chengdu plains of agricultural landscape presents a beauty of disorder.Gathering pattern is such a structure " LinPan-Yao Dianzi-town-city". LinPan is closely related with the field, "living scattered with farmland". Farmland is finely and closely combining with the already water system. They are in the state of half wetlandC) For nearly thirty years Chengdu plains'urbanization, traditional agricultural landscape form has be affected. It mainly displays in the disappearance and integration of LinPan settlements. The influence degree closely connected with the location relationship. Meanwhile, the introduction of modern agriculture made agricultural landscape presents simplification trend.(4) Analyzing the value of agricultural landscape of Chengdu plains. Chengdu plain is a national famous agricultural region. Its agriculture landscape contains crystallization made by ancestors with thousands of years'hard work to transform nature. This crystallization mixes a variety of value together. The most main five kinds of value are production life, ecology, tourism, cultural and aesthetic these(5) Preliminary explored the agricultural landscape designing strategies.A) In agricultural landscape design, multiple value of play should be considered. The practice of multi-dimensional simultaneously design should be considered on the basis of natural, social and economic factors。Especially the post-disaster reconstruction in Chengdu plains around rural areas, we not only need to construct material homes, more should we build spiritual home. B) Traditional agriculture landscape as a symbol, is the thousands of years of cultural precipitation. In agricultural landscape design, the traditional landscape symbols should be extracted. It can effectively build connections between past and future, reveal its regional characteristic.C) Chengdu should critically assimilating the "garden city" theory if she wants to realize the development goal o f "the building modern garden city" of Howard. She should abandon its too idealistic shortages, combine the actual situation of Chengdu and inherit the traditional agricultural discreting settlement layout, closely combined with natural features.
