For increasing motion reliability of the high firing rate automatic gun, research was investigated. Via fault collection and reliability influencing factor analysis, keystone of dynamical simulation research was determined. Dynamical simulation of high rate automatic chain feeder was broken through, and the simulation model of high firing rate automatic gun and bomb feeder was built, the paremetric driving simulation mode of complex construction was proposed and the parameterized driving simulation software was compiled.To research the fault of high firing rate whirling automatic gun, bias motion simulation technique was introduced to realize virtual performance of the fault. And the motion matching design, curved groove position simulation design and unobstructed feeding path optimum simulation to face deterministic simulation model were accomplished. In order to analyse reliability of the autogun which has stochastic position error, the motion reliability simulation driving software was compiled. The motion reliability computation module based on stress interference theory was built, optimized locating angle of transmission gears of the dual feeder by means of parameterized sampling and dynamical batch processing simulation and feeding motion reliability analysis to increase reliability of high rate feeder. The details as follows:Analyzing the motion characteristics of each components of the high firing rate and hybrid energy revolver automatic gun, and collecting all kinds of whirling automatic guns, analyzing the most familiar motion fault and the fault causation, determining the keystone of the dynamical simulation analysis for fault and design amelioration which including firing mechanism, curved groove position error, cartridge ejection, feeding obstruction and so on. which was taken as concerning range of the motion reliability simulation research。The three-dimensional structure of the high firing rate whirling automatic gun and feeder was built by utilizing ProE soft. The multi-body dynamic simulation model was built base on motion relation among all parts. The dynamic simulation of the chain feeder mechanics was realized for the first time by combined the Finite Element Mothed and experiment. And the simulation validity was proved by experiment, which was benefit for the parametric driving simulation.The local parametric driving simulation of part shape of high firing rate whirling automatic gun was realize by the Boolean operation in a creative way. The parametric simulation model of high firing rate whirling automatic gun and feeder was built, by which, the bias motion simulation of the fire mechanism curved groove,two way ammunition feeder,feeder leader,cartridge box was realized. By bias motiong simulation, and the fault process was siumulated and the fault leaded by mistaken positiong setting of key parts was analysed. Taken the the motion match and unhindered pass and stability of feed as optimal object, the motion match of fire mechanisim and setting angle of curved groove and cartridge ejection plate and feed mechanism, the fault of high ineffective ammunition rate, and impedient pass of cartridge and case ejection, and impedient pass of feed were removed. All the work improved the reliability of the high firing rate whirling automatic gun.In order to improve the motion reliability of volume-producd high firing rate automatic gun, the motion reliability computation model was established by utilizing stress interface theory of reliability in a creative way. The motion reliability simulation soft was compiled, in which the combination of parametric driving simulation and motion reliability computation was realized. The motion reliability computation of high firing rate automatic gun could be finished by using the soft, which could provide a useful way to analyze and optimize motion reliability the high firing rate automatic gun.To solve the question on the low motion reliability of the volume-produced feeder mechanism, taking an high speed feeder mechanism as research object, the setting angle of the feeder mechanism simulation model could be changed as random sampling data of assemble error based on normal distributing. Many simulations of feeder mechanism under different sampling data were finished and motion reliability of feeder mechanism was got by stress-strength interference model. The setting angles of feeder mechanism were optimized by motion reliability simulation. The experiment result showed that the optimal high speed feeder mechanism could feed bomb stably with low resistance and the higher motion reliability was realized.By research on dynamic character of high firing rate whirling automatic gun, the application method of dynamic simulation used in fault analysis and optimal design was put forward. For normal fault, taken the Taken the the motion match or motion stability as the optimal target, the bias motion simulation was used to finished the motion relibilty design. For volume-produced rate whirling automatic guns, in which uncertain error of parts producted was being, the provided motion reliability simulation and analysis method could be used to analyze the key components' motion reliability. Taken the highest motion reliability as optimal target, the optimal design parameters were ascertained under considering uncertain error by dynamic simulation and motion reliability analysis. The research result shows that the motion reliability simulation method was an effective way to perform the motion reliability analysis and optimal design of high speed feeder mechanism.
