| Red tide has become one of the several great marine disasters for its severe harm to marine economy in China. Based on analyze of types and intensity of red tide between 1933 and 2001, the discipline of red tide temporal and spatial distribution and growing trend of types of red tide were estimated and three red tide peak regions were pointed out as the Bohai Sea, the Changjiang River Estuary and eastern coast of the Zhujiang river estuary.Data set of the reflectance spectra of twelve red tide and non red tide algal species in different chlorophyll concentrations was measured from in-situ and culture. Using two FLH algorithms and optimized fluorescence bands, relationship between the peak height and position of SICF with chlorophyll concentration were set up. Based on reflectance spectra, using fluorescence bands of SICF sensors (MERIS, GLI, MODIS) separately, different results of FLH were got and precision was discussed.Based on analysis of environmental temperature that triggered red tide and temperature variation after red tide happened, mechanism of variation of SST was calculated during red tide progress. SST model forecasted occurrence of red tide during the year and mid-term red tide forecasting was achieved. At the same time, satellite remote sensing SST model was carried out to monitoring red tide.Grounded on data set from both in-situ and satellite synchronously, relationship between RD-SDD and SDD upon AVHRR with amount of phytoplankton cells was set up. And from analysis about the process of red tide from occurrence to the end, it shows that transparency does work in the remote sensing detection of red tide.AVHRR, as data source for red tide monitoring, was used to estimate chlorophyll a concentration with both normalization and difference algorithms based on the data set from in situ. And the model of remote sensing red tide disaster was set up to give the amount of phytoplankton cells, the speed of cells increasing and region of red tide distribution from AVHRR.Depending on the research above, a whole elementary red tide remote sensing monitoring system was primarily set up. The operational flow of red tide remote sensing monitoring was improved upon realistic situation in China. And relevant system's software was put into use in the routine operational monitoring work as well as that red tide satellite remote sensing monitoring report were issued with high precision. |
