The karst fracture and vug carbonate in Ordovician of TAHE oilfield is complicated and extremely heterogeneous .The integrated geological -engineering studies to develop accurate reservoir models methods have been made by use of logging geology, reservoir geophysics ,geostatistics .reservoir development engineering , at the same time , the data integration and interdisciplinary cooperation is emphasized and fully used . The studied methods by combining local area with regional and static with dynamic are conducted . At last , this paper discusses reservoir characteristics in development period and suggests some theoretical ideas as well as techniques, major works is follow :(1) The combines of sequence stratigraphy , the flatten techniques of 3D seismic interpretation with 3D visualization , the paleotopography and river system in studied area are reconstructed and its controlling to developing of karst fracture and vug carbonate is analyzed , the affects of different paleo-domain unit on developing degree of reservoir storage space are presented .(2) The multi-attributes and multi-parameters of 3D seismic data is studied through detailed processing and interpretation of 3D seismic data based on seismic model inversion and seismic reflector features recognition ,the relationship between reservoir and seismic attribute parameter is determined , and reservoir forestation is done , the response feature and three types recognition model for carbonate reservoir in seismic reflect cross-section are established, deepen the understanding of distributions of fracture and vug within this reservoir.(3) The petrophysical properties reflect reservoir heterogeneity by integration of well testing with reservoir performance are acquired by means of geostatistics , multi-parameter cluster analysis , neural network technique , a set of method of quantitative division and estimation to reservoir quality unit in carbonate pools of fracture and vug type is explored , the estimated parameter for different unit is acquired. which lead to better the understanding of reservoir behavior and heterogeneity.(4) The apply of theory and technology of fluid unit in clastic rock to karsted carbonate reservoir , theoretical concept of "fracture and vug unit" is first suggested , the integrated scheme of fluid unit characteristics in karsted carbonate is performed utilize the combination of development geology ,reservoir engineering with seismic data .which provides a new way for detailed description of karsted carbonate reservoir .
