Bee industry is known as "aerial agriculture" due to its less investment and employment, as well as yield quick returns. Therefore, its development has important economic, social and ecological benefits. China is a big country for beekeeping with long history and rich in nectar plants. The quantity of the bees and the bee production of China are rank first in the world, but China is not a bee industrial power at all because the low level of the application of the production technology, small-scale and dispersed farming, lack of leading enterprises, inadequate investment in scientific research and technological innovation ability, as well as lack of effective supervision in China’s bee industry. Note that the exportation of the bee trade has been seriously affected by the emergence of the veterinary drug residues events in recent years. Therefore, carrying out the research in the terms of economic technology in the trade globalization background and conducting relevant policy recommendations upon China’s bee industry will be of important significance of theoretical and practical.Firstly, the whole situation of bee industry has been analysed in the terms of the bee industry production areas, nectar situation, international trade and domestic sales. Through the fixed observation point data and statistical and econometric analysis of the scale and income of the beekeepers farming, methods, characteristics, the application of bee pollination. The results demonstrate that beekeepers cooperative organizations have a significant impact on the income of the beekeepers. However, there is no obvious effect whether the beekeeper participates into the technical training or not, reflecting the current technical extension and training work did not play its real role.The current situation and the influence factor of the demand of the beekeepers technology have been known well based on the survey from10provinces. Through the analysis of the published bee industry relevant papers and registration of scientific achievement, the technology supply of the bee industry has been studied, and the key production technology and application also been studied aiming at the technology requirements from beekeepers. All these confirm that our supply of the bee industry technology has failed to meet the needs and there is still much room for improved.According to the different feeding ways of beekeepers, the method of DEA-Malquist index has been apply to the empirical analysis of total factor productivity of the bee industry upon the transferred and fixed breeding methods. The calculated results show that the comprehensive technical efficiency values of the transferred and fixed breeding methods from the year2009to2012were84.4%and69%, respectively. The redundancy of the latter is too much higher and Beijing is the most irrational ratio of factor to inputs, particularly.The typical cases study both from domestic and abroad have been analysed in order to explore the path to the promotion of our nation bee industrial. Especially, take Australia as an example to analysis the means of the development of bee industry in foreign countries including summing up its bee industry management experience and learning their practice and advocacy of the pest control and propagation of bee pollination. Governments, associations, enterprises dominated technical supply and marketing model selected as domestic examples were analysed and giving experience and enlightenment to the development of Chinese bee industry.Based on the above research, the following suggestions have been proposed in order to promote bee industry technological progress:the government should strengthen the supervision and support of the bee industry; efforts to establish a government and policy support system; establishment of a combination of research, teaching and production system by integrating national research resources; building up technology service and extension system through the development of the leading enterprises; setting up industry information service system using modern information tools; strengthen bee industry scientific research personnel team construction and technical training efforts,building up industry personnel training system.
