The Development Of China’s Modern Agriculture Model Terminology Research

Agricultural development mode is defined to show the basic types of agriculture development and the realization way. With the acceleration of the process of modernization, China is in the transition period from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture. The evolution of agricultural development mode inevitably brings a lot of new concepts and new terms, and provides a new research object and expression for agricultural science. How to accurately and clearly grasp the connotation and the characteristic of the related terms of modern agricultural development mode, is the key of understanding the development trend and prospect of modern agriculture, more importantly, an important topic worth attention by experts, scholars, government departments and so on.Term is a linguistic symbol used in the particular subject area through speech or text to express the specific scientific concept, and an important tool for people understanding things and exchanging ideas. Therefore, it has become the most basic unit of knowledge system. The science and standardization are the basic premise of the existence of term. Term always exists in a certain concept system, but not in isolation. Its scientific definition is always restricted by other related concepts. In the process of term confirmation, science and standardization are in the first place. If ignoring this principle, it will cause the confusion of concepts and the deviation of understanding, thereby impairing academic exchanges, and worse, affecting the development of discipline.This thesis mainly studies the related terms of agricultural development mode. Through the use of related theory and the method of terminology, the existing agricultural terms are studied and listed systematically. It clarifies the new terms in each period of agricultural development mode, and placed in the theory of terminology. This paper aims at the diachronic study through three development stages of agricultural development mode:primitive agriculture, traditional agriculture and modern agriculture, and the synchronic study of the relevant terminology for agriculture development mode in each period, as well as the comparative study of terms concepts, characteristics, origin, connotation and extension. It makes a systematic and scientific study of the related terms of agricultural development mode from the view of terminology, lists the concept, characteristics and real meaning of agricultural development mode, so as to be scientific and systematic, and to achieve the purpose of the integration of knowledge and system, and standardization.The paper mainly discusses from three aspects:one is the evolution of agricultural terminology and the history of agricultural development mode; two is the terminology study in the development mode of Chinese modern agriculture; three is the development of China’s modern agriculture model terminology standardization problems. The detailed content is as follows:Firstly, the evolution process of agricultural terminology essentially reflects the change of agricultural development mode. Therefore the first chapter mainly elaborates the terminology evolution of primitive agriculture, traditional agriculture and modern agriculture, and thus examines the transformation of agricultural development mode. Through discussing the agricultural concept, characteristics and basic mode in different historical periods, it analyzes the generation and change of agricultural terminology. By making the terminology research as the starting point, this part attempts to discuss the development trends from original agriculture to modern agriculture from the diachronic perspective. It focuses on the evolution of Chinese agricultural development mode and the evolution of term that it poses, most notably the historical changes in the development process of agricultural terms.Secondly, based on the diachronic perspective, the term system of Chinese modern agricultural development mode is analyzed in this paper. On one hand, this part focuses on all kinds of development mode of modern agriculture, mainly including petroleum agriculture, precision agriculture, organic agriculture, white agriculture, blue agriculture, green agriculture, ecological agriculture, quality agriculture, efficient ecological agriculture, stereo agriculture and sustainable agriculture and so on. Their origin, meaning, concept, characteristic, development status and significance are revealed from the terminology perspective to make synchronic research. On the other hand, this paper will also make a comparative study on modern agricultural terminology, which focus on the concepts comparison and distinguish of traditional agriculture and modern agriculture, suburban agriculture and urban agriculture, green agriculture and ecological agriculture, green ecological agriculture, low carbon agriculture and circular agriculture, ecological agriculture and traditional agriculture, organic agriculture, petroleum agriculture, agricultural modernization and modern agriculture. Through the study on the origin, contact and difference of above concepts, it explores the relationship, similarities and differences of a variety of agricultural development modes.Thirdly, the last chapter of the paper is to discuss the development of China’s modern agriculture model terminology standardization. This part mainly elaborates the necessity of terminology standardization, standardization of terminology and agricultural standardization and terminology used in some of the practical problems. On the other hand, focus on the development of China’s modern agriculture model terminology related to standardized a problem to carry on horizontal comparison and vertical comparison, and discusses the standardization of basic principles and methods.In summary, through the study of the development mode of agriculture related terms, to make clear how the agricultural development in the process of the various terms, and through these terms and systemic arrangement, can effectively improve the terms using the chaos phenomena, so as to enhance agricultural science terminology standardization, standardization, scientific choice for our suit one’s measures to local conditions suitable for the region development models of agricultural development to provide a scientific basis.
