Research On China 's Industry Development Model

With economic development and the process of economic globalization speeding up, the barriers of resource elements between different countries is becoming lower, the competition on industrial development between developed countries and developing countries is becoming increasing. Because the economic development of any country is based on the inustrial development, the research on the patterns of the industrial development has very important pratical significance. In this context, the dissertation takes the Marx economic theory and theory of industrial organization in Industrial Economics as the instruction, and probes into establishing general analytical framework of the mode of industrial development, then analyses the development mode of China’s automobile components industry within this framework.The dissertation, mainly uses the normative research and empirical research, statistical analysis and comparative analysis, inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning. Firstly, the dissertation holds that there are two problem on the industrial development,one is the overall characterization of the industrial development, another is the function and the promotion mechanisms. So we can define that the the development mode of the industrial development is the release of the rule and characteristics of industial development under its promotion agent. Then, as to empirical study, the dissertation analysied the development mode of China’s automobile components industry within this research framework. After analyse the the rules and trend of development of China’s automobile components industry, the dissertion released the promotion mechanisms and agents, finally, the dissertion give the evalution the performance of development mode of China’s automobile components industry, and give the policy suggestions as well.Chapter1introduces the research backgruond, the purpose and the significance of the research, and the research status quo of the mode of industial development both in theory and in China’s automobile components industry. This chapter also introduces the main content, research method, technology route of the article.Chapter2constructs an analysis framework based on the mode of Industrial development theory of industrial structure, the theory of industrial organization, industrial cluster theory,and industrial life cycle theory.Chapter3researches on the rules of industrial development.. The dissertation summed up and concluded the rules of the industrial structure development and the rules of the single industry’s development. The rules of the industrial structure development are including the generality and diversity of the development of industrial structure, the balanced and unbalanced development of the industrial structure, the industry amalgamation and the industrial separation, the rationalization and optimization of the industrial structure. As to the single indutrial development rules are including the industrial life cycle rule and industrial cluster rule. The single industrial trends are including the internationalization and ecological trends.Chapter4researches on the promotion mechanisms and promotion factors of industrial development. The promotion mechanisms are including both the internal mechanisms such as interest-driven mechanism, supply and demand mechanism, variation mechanism, and the external mechanism such as competition mechanism, Decision-making and coordination mechanisms. The promotion fators of industrial development are including expense demand, technological innovation, natural resources, labor resources, investment, institution etc..Chapter5researches on the the types, optimization of mode of industrial development, and also constructs a system of evalution on it. The dissertion takes driven-factor as the classification standard of different types of development mode.From the chapter6to chapter9, the dissertion analyses the development mode of China’s automobile components industry within the general analytical framework.Chapter6analyses the development rules and trends of China’s automobile components industry. The content includes characteristics and trends of organizational and technical development of industry, use feature variables to determine the stage of China’s automobile components industrial life cycle, the conclusion is it is in growing stage now. then the dissertion analyses the six automobile components industrial clusters of China.Chapter7analyses industrial organization of China’s automobile components industry. The dissertion analyses the market structure, market conduct, and market performance within the the theoretical framework of industrial organization. Then the dissertion uses the pattern of "Structure-Conduct-Performance" which was put forward by Harvard School, takes cost margin as measure of market performance, takes the number of enterprises and The value of exports as measure of market structure and market conduct, using quarterly data from2001to2010, to analyses China’s automobile components industry empirically, the results show that:there exists a negative correlation between profit and number of enterprises, and positive correlation between profit and expot value ratio.Chapter8analyses five promotion fators of China’s automobile components industry, there are market, human resoures, capital, technological innovation, and institution(mainly refers to industrial policy). The market fator consists of OE markets, export markets and after markets. The human resources include genenal labor, professional and entrepreneur human capital. Capital are including state-owned capital, foreign and private capital. The institution mainly refers to industrial policy. On the basis of these pushing factor, the dissertion defines the development mode of China’s automobile components industry as market and low labor cost-driven development mode.Chapter9comparative Analysis of the development mode of automobile components industry of the other countries such as United States, Japan, Germany, and India, draws implications for China. Then the dissertion uses evalution system which constructs in chapter5to evaluate the performance of development mode of China’s automobile components industry. The results show that market and low labor cost-driven development mode is unsustainable,we should change the development mode to the one of technology innovation and capital driven-development mode.
