Compared to traditional photography technology, light field photography technology is able to collect four-dimensional light field information, from which threedimensional objects can be reconstructed by algorithm. By now, domestic researches on light field photography technology focus on plenoptic photography. The researches on focused plenoptic photography have just started and further researches are needed. This article has made researches on light field principle, light field reconstruction algorithm, focused plenoptic photography camera design and focused plenoptic photography technology used for laser parameters measurement. This thesis mainly includes the work as following:1. According to the light field photography theory, the mathematical model of light field propagation, sampling and reconstruction is illustrated. Based on point spread function(PSF) rendering theory, an optimized weighted PSF is proposed which is able to solve the mosaic problem caused by block reconstruction algorithm. What’s more, the rendering algorithm is time resuming, more accurate, and the author has tested the performance of this algorithm by simulation and experiment.2. As light field photography has recorded object parallax, using the parallax information around the target, the target’s depth can be calculated. Making the depth map as the initial value of the searching algorithm, a fast iteration searching algorithm is proposed, named Two Step Searching algorithm in this article. To analysis the relative advantage between the traditional and the new searching method, contrast experiments are promoted, and the result shows that the new method is more time consuming and has higher focusing accuracy.3. A focused plenoptic photography camera is designed, and optical simulation has been done of the designed camera to verify the design. Then a prototype of the focused plenoptic photography camera has been made out. A method to calibrate the tilt angle between the micro-lens array(MLA) and CCD chip is proposed which indicates that the MLA tilt is within the allowed range. Imaging experiments has been done with the prototype which verifies the rendering algorithm, searching algorithm and the design theory.4. Designed a dynamic laser focal spot measurement system based on double wedge arrays, which achieved far field spot drift measurement of a single pulse laser. Based on focused plenoptic photography technology, laser parameters measurements experiments has been done which achieved the far-field focal spot position measurement and its 3D reconstruction.
