Study Of Ren Shen Jian Xin Capsule On Treating Left Ventricular Diastolic Dysfunction (LVDD) Coronary Atherosclerotic Heart Disease (CHD) Of The Senile Patient

Objective: To study the effects of Ren Shen Jian Xin (RSJX) Capsule on treating Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction ( LVDD ) coronary atherosclerotic heart disease ( CHD ) of the senile patient and to declare the possible mechanism though animal experiment.Methods: 60 cases of CHD LVDD with qi deficiency and blood stasis type or with yang deficiency were randomly divided into two groups each includes 30 cases. The treatment group were administrated orally Ren Shen Jian Xin Capsule for 4 weeks, while the control group were administrated orally captopril for 4 weeks. Though animal experiment to observe the effects of RSJX capsule on Neuro-endocrine activation of chronic congestive heart failure (CHF) rat, the functions of preventing the development of left ventricular hypertrophy and the protection of heart under the harm of ADR.Result:Comparing the score of clinical symptoms of TCM, the total effective rate of RSJX group is 96.7%, and improve the symptoms much better than the control group(p<0.05). The cardiac function of RSJX group is obviously improved of which the marked rate is 43.3% and the total rate is 93.3% and is better than the control group (p<0.05). The blood rheology, the blood lipid, the endothelial function and the living quality of the RSJX group are improved which have remarkable difference compared with the control group (P<0.01). Animal experiment showed that compared with Captopril, RSJX capsule could reduce the circulatory level of NO, ET, Angâ…¡, IL-6 in blood of rats (P<0.01) and result of the high dose group is better than the low dose group(P<0.01). The cardiac index of rats showed that RSJX capsule could prevent the development of left ventricular hypertrophy which is better than that of the control group(P<0.05). The pathological section of cardiac muscle showed that RSJX capsule may protect the cardiac muscle though improving the degeneration of the cardiac cell and reducing the inflammatory cell infiltration.Conclusion: Ren Shen Jian Xin Capsule has favorable clinical curative effect on coronary atherosclerotic heart disease left ventricular diastolic dysfunction and could improve the living quality of the patients. It can reinforce qi and activate blood, alleviate pain by promote circulation, invigorant heart and recover health. The animal experiment declared that Ren Shen Jian Xin Capsule could prevent the development of left ventricular hypertrophy and protect the cardiac muscle though the mechanism of adjusting the neuro-endocrine activation.
