[Background of the Study]The majority of the patients of cirrhosis is male. The ratio between the male patientsand the female patients is 2.2～18:1. The cause of the cirrhosis for male is closely related toself-immunity, lifestyle, eating and drinking sanitation, and the people surrounded.Distributed by professions, 43.3％of the patients are labors, who have the highestpercentage in the number of the patients. The second highest percentage in the number ofthe patients is farmer, which is 20％. These statistics supports the point that living condition,nutrition, knowledge of health care, and social status could affect significantly. The age ofthe patients is mostly from the age of 41 to the age of the 60, which is almost 60％.The cause of cirrhosis has numerous of factors, and those factors are complex. In all ofthese factors, cirrhosis under hepatitis is the most determining, which has the average ofapproximately 60％in Mainland China. The main cause is hepatitis B. In order to reduceincidence of cirrhosis, people should take notice of the prevention and control of hepatitis B.Due to the fact that living condition is getting better and the fact that people socialize withothers more frequently, our nation's number of alcohol drinker increase gradually. InTaiwan, alcohol cirrhosis is related to the regions. Hualien and Taitung have more patientsthan the other areas in Taiwan. Following by Hualien and Taitung, Pingdong and the othermountain regions have the second most patients. Urban, like Taipei and Kaohsiung, hasfewer patients than rural mentioned above. Another distribution by areas is dividing Taiwanby North and South. (For more information, please see appendix) Beside cirrhosis underhepatitis, people should pay attention to bile cirrhosis. According to this research paper, there are about 70％of people who have cirrhosis because their bile slits up, so clinicshould concentrate on treating bile slit up in time. Cirrhosis caused by medical andchemical poison has about 5％in cirrhosis with the obvious causes. Therefore, clinicaldoctors should try to reduce using medicine and cannot abuse medicine to liver diseasepatients; furthermore, clinical doctors should use protection to reduce damage to liver whencannot avoid using chemical poisonous substance. This research paper analyzes a various ofcases, demonstrates the inducement for cirrhosis and the factors closely related, andindicates that obvious inducement person is more than two-third. To prevent this disease,people should gain the knowledge of health care, and keep good mood and good mentality.Cirrhosis does not have any special symptoms. Feeling weak, abdominal distension,and apocleisis are the most common symptoms found on the patients. To people who havethe symptom mentioned above, doctors should consider that it might be cirrhosis other thanonly intestine problems, and also take a step forward to examine and to diagnose. The bestway to prevent the condition getting worse and stop hepatic fibrosis is to treat in time.About 40％of the patients have the symptom of upper alimentary canal bleeding. Cirrhosishas higher chance causing death than the other liver diseases, which is about 10％. Peoplein the age of 50 and over have the highest percentage within that 10％: close to 70％. It isclear that age is a crucial factor as well except for timing of treatment, seriousness of theillness, and liver's ability of storing.[Object ives and Purposes]This research paper includes 10706 papers in China within the last ten years. Based onmathematical logic, this paper provides the accurate statistics of cirrhosis, risens the level ofdiagnosing cirrhosis, promotes diagnosis to be systematic, and assists the interchangebetween Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. Furthermore, the paper talks about themost common measure diagnosis for symptoms, achieves the most common measurediagnosis for cirrhosis, and discusses the regularity of using Chinese medicine to diagnosecirrhosis and the ancient way of doing it. That makes the research of cirrhosis'microcosmicdifferentiate between patterns and "patterns" build on science and mathematics, and alsotake quantification research method into a new level.[Content and Method]Though CBMdisc using computer to calculate and search the key words: "cirrhosis,pattern identification to treatment, pattern identification divide into type, instance of case,and particular case" from the catalog for bibliography in 1994-2006 this paper gets the objective bibliography, and then uses the objective bibliography and a category of overviewbibliography to have further research. There are total 10706 objective bibliographies whichhave found. Though CQVIP. com to find the 10706 papers searching the full text from thecomputer, computer did not find all the 10706 papers. For these unfound paper, the authorfound them though Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine library's documentary; then,the author found them though Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine lay by books8575(Cirrhosis) and the books written by the famous ancient Chinese doctors. By selectingand eliminating the materials, there are 373 papers (the authors of these papers are from the18 different provinces) and 11 books written by the famous Chinese ancient doctors fit thestandard. There are 604 cases of cirrhosis. 569 cases are Cirrhosis under hepatitis; 11 casesare alcohol cirrhosis; 19 cases are schistosoma cirrhosis; 1 case is bile cirrhosis; 1 case ismedical cirrhosis.This task mainly uses frequency, sequences, and Logistic to analyze MaximumLikelihood Estimation (MLE). Statistics is an important subject used by the researcherswho have the technique of searching materials. Statistics has also become a handy tool forthe modern people. This paper uses Logistic Regression Analysis to select the relatingfactors, and clarifies the relating factors of the common symptoms; then, it was MaximumLikelihood Estimation (MLE) to establish measure diagnosis list of cirrhosis commonpattern and past and living legends' ways of using the medicine regularly. In addition, thispaper examines as a review measure diagnosis list based on the principal of the evaluationof the diagnosis. The result indicates that it has higher sensitivity, specificity, accuracy,negative likelihood estimation, and positive likelihood estimation. It demonstrates thatquantification standard and gold standard (expert's diagnosis standard) are with one accord.[Results and Conclusion]The 6 measure diagnosis list in this research paper can be used for diagnosingindependently, and can also randomly combine. They have the measuring nature,repeatability, and controllable quality. Moreover, they establish the foundation ofdeveloping multi-center for cirrhosis, deeper research, and clinical academic exchange.This research is a beneficial attempt and a good start in the research of Chinese medicinedisease by the standard pattern. This proves that the pattern and the disease of Chinesemedicine can be standard and measure. Pattern identification for Chinese medicine divideinto type plan to the cirrhosis at beginning provides a better system. However, its way ofresearching still needs to improve, and needs a further clinical examination.In order to search for the way of using Chinese medicine to diagnose cirrhosis, the author studies 313 out of the 562 compound prescription for diagnosing cirrhosis. Theauthor found that the medicine used to diagnose cirrhosis is focusing on supplementing qi,disinhibiting water and removing a swelling, rectifying qi, quickening the blood andadjusting menstruation, supplementing yin, and supplementing blood. Clearing heat andcool blood drug, dispersing food drug, and dispelling dampness have higher chance to beused. With the high frequency of the medical functions, the functions of the medicine thatappear more frequently are listed by the order form more to less: disinhibiting water andpercolating dampness, quickening the blood and transforming stasis, strengthening appetite,moving qi, supplementing qi, supplementing liver and kidneys. The common used Chinesemedicines are poria, write atractylodes, savia miltiorrhiza bge., astragali radix, alismatisrhizome, turtle shell, angelicae sinensis radix, areca husk, bupleurum, polyporus, peony,glycyrrizae; here we got the list of common used Chinese medicines. Diagnosing cirrhosisdiscovers the new medicines for diagnosing it, especially to give the proof for theproduction of the relating new Chinese medicines and the formation of the clinicalapplication. If assisted by new science technology, studying clinically for the medicineswhich have good effect and repetition with high frequency of being use, researching for anew ideal type of medicine and patent medicine which is easy to be accept by patients andChinese Medicine and Western Medicine, it is not questionable that they will bring hugesocial benefit and economic.This paper has the following unique characteristics: (1) Reflecting the relatingcharacteristic of therapy disease, and then combining it to the main symptom. Initially,notifying the disease by Western Medicine, determining the treatment for the disease, andholding the condition. Then, taking the advantage of Chinese Medicine based on patternsidentification. Use disease together patterns can acknowledge a deeper understanding forpatterns. The combination of ill and patterns can create a new model which is based on thecooperation between Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine.(2) Adopting documents tostudy the method, drawing lessons from the research approach of epidemiology, and usingmathematical statistics rationally (3) Using medicine from the medical efficiency, from themedicine once of high frequency, from the medicine once of high frequency, from themedicine common patterns type, from the medicine characteristic, from many differentdegrees of angles visiting the law of using medicine of the cirrhosis.
