The development of palatal operation tends to getting better results after more than one century time. The researchers are still in disagreement with the interfering factors that stunting the maxillary development of cleft palate on the clinical basement. The research results manifested that the retard of cleft maxilla may be caused by the intrinsic deficiency of growth proficiency and operative interference. Many animal experiments tested and verified that theory, but it is hard to accept the same results from human aspect with animal imitation especially when we stressed on the estimation of dynamics and functional of human maxilla.Both experiments and clinic observations tested that the bone defect (intrinsic) and operative interference (extrinsic) are the important factors for the undeveloped cleft maxilla.
