BackgroundAsymptom chronic hepatitis B (CHB), named as "occult syndromes CHB" , is a headtech for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome differentiation, which founded upon symptom. Occult mechanism of CHB with occult syndromes is unclear until now. Reserch on clinical characteristics and hepatic pathology of Asymptom CHB conduce to the establishment of treatment principle of TCM about occult syndromes CHB.Unit One Clinical Study on Chronic Hepatitis B with Occult SyndromesObjective To know about the clinical characteristics and hepatic pathology of CHB with occult syndromes.Method Diagnosis standard for CHB with occult syndromes was established as â‘  Diagnosis for chronic hepatitis B was performed according to the criteria of the prevention and treatment of viral hepatitis, which was made at xi' an conference in 2000.â‘¡The syndrome differentiation and typing is based on the tentative standard of TCM syndrome differentiation on viral hepatitis, which was made by the Chinese Association of TCM and Pharmacy in 1991.â‘¢ No syndrome can be found to differentiate in the cases of CHB. 337 cases of CHB were taken hepatic biopsy for grading liver inflammation and fibrosis, while, some biochemical indexes.
