【Objective】Investigate the efftects of exogenous quinolinic acid on acute and subacute animal models of inflammation.【Method】Acetic acid-Evans Blue model, dimethylbenzene model, CMC-air chamber model, tampon-granuloma model, and carbon granule clearance model were selected to investigate effect of exogenous quinolinic acid with dosage of 0.35mg/10g and 0.07mg/10g on acute and subacute animal models of inflammation.【Results】Exogenous quinolinic acid had dose-dependent depression effect on white blood cell gathering, hyperplasia, neutrophil proliferation, fibroblast hyperplasia and macrophage phagocytosis, and dose-independent depression effect on exudation and local edema.
