As a kind of new technology, 125I seeds implantation has gained a rapid development since 1999 in China. It has been used in comprehensive treatment of different kinds of carcinoma besides primary liver cancer, and got satisfied therapeutic effect. However, because the mechanism of low dose rate and continuous irradiation with 125I seeds is still not clear, the advanced clinical application of 125I seeds implantation in treatment of carcinoma is limited. The purpose of this thesis is to provide experimental basis for clinical application of 125I seeds implantation by investigating the effect of low dose rate and continuous irradiation with 125I seeds in inhibiting proliferation, regulating cell cycle distribution, inducing apoptosis in BEL-7402 cell line and the treatment effect, influence on proliferation, angiogenesis, apoptosis related protein of 125I seeds brathytherapy to hepatocellular carcinoma in nude mice. The therapeutic effect of 125I seeds brachytherapy combined with 5-FUchemotherapy seed implantation on H22 xenograft in mice and effect of previous 125Iseed implantation on H22 cells xenograft transplanted in BALB/C mice are also evaluated. The thesis includes four parts as follow:PART 1: In vitro study of low dose rate and continuous irradiation with 125I seeds to BEL-7402 cells lineObjectiveTo evaluate the effect of low dose rate and continuous irradiation with 125I seeds...
