| 1. The Experimental Study Of Assessment of Left Ventricular Function in Rats with Myocardial Infaction by Echocardiography. By High Frequency Transducer to Evaluate the Cardiac Function of Myocardial Infarction Rats.We observed the cardiac function of the Wistar rats before and after 8 weeks myocardial infarction to evaluate the applicability of methodology of echocardiography. Meanwhile, we assessed the clinical value for prognosis with decreasing degree of LVEF comparing before and after first myocardial infarction rats. All the rats were divided into heart failure group and non-heart failure group based on LVEF by echocardiography. By follow up, there was significant difference in prognosis of survival between two groups (five rats death in heart failure group and no death in non-heart failure group). If the LVEF decreased over 31%, the morbidity increased significantly. The study proved the applicability of the methodology. It is a valuable index to evaluate the prognosis that the decreasing degree of LVEF at the beginning of myocardial infarction comparing with that before myocardial infarction.2. Evaluation of differential effects of anesthetics on myocardial systolic function in rats by echocardiography.Recent studies have highlighted the effects of differential anesthetics on the left ventricular function in rats with invasive mehtod or in molecular lever. Advanced echocardiographic instrument make it possible to evaluate the left ventricular function in rats with non-invasive method, the purpose of this study was to examine the effects of differential anesthetics (Propofol, pentobarbital sodium and urethane) on myocardal systolic function of Wistar and Spontaneous Hypertension Rat SHR with high frequency transducer (12MHz). We studied 13 Wistar rats and 8 SHR, all of the rats were anesthetized by Propofol, pentobarbital sodium and urethane before they had been performed the examination with Echocardiography, respectively.
