Background and Objective: Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a common disease that affects seriously the quality of life of middle and old age women. 20% of middle and old age women suffer from different degrees of SUI. Pelvic organs prolapse (POP) which has close relationship with SUI is common clinical gynecologic problem also. The pathophysiology is not clear now. The study on this area is blank in China. Clinical treatment includes a lot of methods. The guideline and microinvasive therapy is needed to establish in China. This study includes basic and clinical study. The aim of the basic study is to explore the relationship between estrogen and the occurrence of SUI through analysis on estrogen receptor (ER) in levator ani muscle and fascia. The aim of the clinical study is to use effective and microinvisive therapy on SUI through establishment the guideline of diagnosis. 1.Basic studyMethods: The biopsy specimens of the levator ani muscle were obtained from 31 subjects undergoing total vaginal hysterectomy(TVH), laparoscopic assistant hysterectomy(LAVH)...
