Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common pathogenic bacterium in Clinical infections. It is the top of burn infection bacteria, and one of the most frequently isolated from the trauma and compromised hosts, and the third most common cause of nosocomial infections, being surpassed by only staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. P. aeruginosa infections, once developing into species or inner organs, are of very high mortality. It is leading cause of death in the patients with severe burns, cystic fibrosis, neoplastic diseases. It has been found that more than a dozen pathogenic factors Could be produced by this microrganism, among which P. aeruginosa Exotoxin A (PEA) is the most potent one, called a lethal toxin.Effective prophylaxis and therapy of this pathogen is dependent on the profound knowledge of it major pathogenic substances.
