Osteosarcoma is the most severe malignant tumor of bone. Although the improved surgical technique ,combined with chemical and radiotherapy, has greatly increased the survival rate of the patients, there still has been fourty percent individuals losing their life due to recurrence or metastasis shortly after surgical treatment, which has led to proposals for alternative therapies to change the morality. Gene therapy, emerged with the development of modern molecular biology and showed widespread impact on the treatment of malignant tumor via bloking either the function of oncogen protein or expression of oncogen gene, has petential for the use in the osteosarcoma therapy.
