Study And Application Of Chronobilogy Related Instruments

Chronobiology is a newly rising science studying the biologic rhythm, time structure and application of organism and monoplast. Almost all organisms on earth exhibit daily changes in a variety of physiological processes. Biologic rhythm systematically operates the physiological functions, biochemistry, metabolism and behavior of organism so as to make the internal environment stable and suitable to the outside environment.As the physiological parameters are rhythmic and dynamic and the parameters detected in the peak and foot differed dramatically, the objects of study usually can't provide enough information of clinical diagnosis in one or two times of detection or even reflect false information at extreme situation. Therefore, It's very important to develop instruments that based on chronobiology and can be used to collect the data of the objects in an all round and dynamic way.The sensitivity of target tissue to medicines and tolerance of normal tissue to medicines are not synchronous. Dosage at different time will cause different pharmacokinetics and relative efficiency and tox-side effect. With the guidance of chronophamacology, chronopathology and chronotherapy and programming through instruments, pharmacists can precisely control the time and dose of drug release and then provide ideal dosage regimen. There have been some apparatuses with the views, theories and technics of chronobiology applied in tumor therapy, mental disease and cardiovascular disease, promoted medicine efficiency, reduced toxin effect, enhanced the living stardard of patients. The apparatuses with chronobiology technics will contribute to treat the relative deseases which can't be solved by clinical medicine.My paper aims to conduct research on inspection and detection system of biological rhythm which can entrain biological rhythm through regulating the model of systematic zeitgeber and analyze biological rhythm through consecutively detecting animals'activities. The detection system of biological rhythm is a distributed digital control system operated by microprocessor as distributed control unit and PC computer as supervisory computer. As to the detecting parts and hardware of zeitgeber, we adopt modelized designation, using different detecting models and collocating relative models of zeitgeber according to actual objects of study and requirements of experiments. The models of zeitgeber we designed include models of light, electromagnetic wave and temperature while detecting models of activities contain models targeting at mice and fruit flies.After one-year operation, the system we designed has reached the requirements of experiments on biological rhythm with stability and reliability.
