Objective Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) is a good choice for cell transplantation for its multilineage differentiation ability and low immunogenicity. Our previous studies in vitro indicated that undifferentiated MSC of swine are low immunogenic and could suppress proliferative response of human peripheral blood lymphocyte (hPBL) to different antigens. This study is aimed to learn the optimal temperature and serum for cultivation of Mesenchymal Stem Cells firstly, then to investigate whether differentiated MSC of swine can still keep their low immunogenicity and immune modulation ability in vitro for further study.Methods MSCs were isolated from bone marrow of Banna Minipig Inbred-Line (BMI) and transfected with pSV3neo, a plasmid coding for SV40 large T antigen for its immortalization.
