[BACKGROUND]Brain tumor is one kind of the most frequent ailment in nervous system, which harms the nervous system function of human beings. Malignant intracranial tumor account 1.5 percent in total malignant tumors as the 11th position in adult. While it account 7 percent as the 2nd position in children. Glioma is one kind of the most frequent brain tumors and it accounts for more than 40% of morbidity of brain tumors. In terms of glioma treatment, it remains the most lethal malignant tumor despite surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. According to statistics, binual survival rate of glioblastoma patients is 5% and 10 years survival rate of optimum glioma patients is 20%.Molecular targeting in the treatment of cancer is nowadays becoming a promising approach based on research progress on pathogenesis and molecular mechanism of glioma. As the highlight of promising biotherapy/immunotherapy in the treatment of cancer, new oncology strategies of molecular targeting include adoptive immunotherapy of antigen-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) induced by tumor-associated antigen (TAA) which fulfill the feature of over expression in tumor tissue but limited expression in normal tissues. Inhibition of...
