The clinical therapies for them are time consuming and refractory, and there is a lack of effective therapy for them.At present, the domestic reports about the therapies for shank ulcers in the field of western medicine are focused on insulin, prostaglandin, epidermal growth factor, conjugated protein, fructose 1,6-bisphosphate, basic fibroblast growth factor, hyaluronic acid, sodium ferulate, ect, whose problems of time-consuming, high cost and safety remain unsolved. Additionally, the understanding of indications for surgical amputation is closely correlated with the cognition level of surgeons, which may bring about unnecessary problems to the patients.
